When I woke up I said I was happy to wake up next to you, truth is, we are happy to wake up next to, next, next, next time we wake up it will be with the next. When the whole tower collapsed you said it was the wind blowing through your hair, truth is, I am the wind blowing through, blowi

WLC - Thanks for your input, it did frustrate me a bit that this one went commentless for a long time, but you seem to do a very good job and resolving many of my frustrations. cheers!

These large veins, give me better circulation, but what I circulate through them is limited, by the build up of incomplete abbreviations. I'm down with a number of artists you mentioned ie. Jeff Buckley - too bad I found out about him long after his death, the Deftones, etc.. I'm not half as in-tune with the techno scene as I used to be, but every now and then I need to check out some good trance or ambient on my computer. That Robert Miles gets some play in my apt. from time to time as well. Interesting gender gaps in music though, and you'd think techno would be a good way

Authors Note: This really turned out to be a piece in which I pictured myself at a place in life I really hope to get to. Or maybe a vision that I would find acceptable if I ever achieved it.....though many, may not consider such an existence an "achievement." thanks for reading. Hold our peace eternal, that one day, my son, who was de

Mig, if you ever want help with a question or two I'd be happy to attempt one. I would be interested in the he said/she said blog, but I worry that I may not represent the male population very well.....I don't watch sports, don't really like action movies and could give a rats ass about guns or sports cars........good god, do I have any testosterone? I can appreciate your worry about the dirty emails bummer. Anyway, keep me posted on this as

When I was a kid it wasn't cool to like coconut so I never gave it a chance. Now I love it. Mig - You mean these already existed? Damn it! Oh well, they're still yum-a-rific. thanks guys

So this morning I was jonesin' for something different and I actually invented something good for a change. I usually eat oatmeal every morning mixed with a little bit of coconut but weekend breakfasts demand something a bit more special. I chopped up a banana, grabbed some pancake mix and stirred in a bunch of oatmeal/coconut concoction with the banana in i

Sounds like this friend of yours is having their own problems finding a soul mate and decided your suggestion was a good place to make that apparent. -Suspeckted

3/ what type of home do you have ? My main home would be spacious and would have secret passages. Booyah, a fantastic idea. I may just have to steal it. My Great G'parents cottage had a bunch of secret crawl spaces in it and we thought it was the coolest thing when we were kids.

Yo-Yo Ma's Buha, is such a great background song for how I feel right now....reflective and calmly apprehensive. It's kind of funny to me that I got more comments on my flow of consciousness piece than I did on my Nostalgia piece. I spent much more time thinking about what I was going to write in the Nostalgia poem, but perhaps it just didn't generate enough thought

This is tight...one of your more flowing pieces as you bring it all together in the end, nice imagery too.

Nice thing about long pieces like this is that they can be picked apart into other pieces if I like where a certain section was going. But they're also kind of fun in their run-on sort of way. Thanks

Nice piece...dug this line just meat and heat like animals despite what we believe really reduces us to the lowest common denominator. Anyway, thanks for your thought-out comments Mig, hope I can better repay the favor in the future. -suspeckTed

Should have studied other angles, squares and circles, tangled my teeth, and the slight dangle and droop of my jaw, should provide you with some reassurance about what you saw... through with that dull blade, churning up the soil with a sharp spade, but I am the jack of clubs, the queen of defeat, the king scrubs from head to feet.

Nothing better than getting paid while you're writing at work (wouldn't that technically make me a professional poet...maybe I'll sneak that into the job description)....here's the result of one such shift. Settling - as in compromising my dreams for lesser. Settling is a multiple fear actually as I think the trouble with fearing settling is that you are never comfortable. You always wonder if you should be doing something else, working harder, spending more time with your friends....meeting new ones? It's enough to drive me off a cliff................but that would be settling. -SuspeckTed
