On the top menu, the button for "Edit Account" takes you to your profile page. On the left side about halfway down you should have this "Max # of Skins per Page" with a drop-down list. Right under that should be the Ratings with a drop-down list. Maybe this and the edit button are only available to level 4 members and if so, sorry for the confusion. I've never been told that was the case though, I thought every signed up member had the ratings settings.

There's no wallpaper with that name in your uploads (including ones that aren't posted). Could you re-send it? with a name like that it should be easy to spot. It's not a "joke" wall is it? I don't see how it could disappear unless you or a moderator removed it.

It's gone now. Posting it was my fault, I thought it was a picture he took of someone he knew. Silly me... Before people start running around the wallpaper section giving "1's" to all the "bad" wallpapers think about this, is it really a problem you need to take personally? I'd be willing to bet that the ones you'd object to are already being posted with a pretty low rating. A few other sites have no moderation. We're still moderating, just not as tough. We give you a filter

The more people who rate skins, the more meaningful ratings become. If anyone thinks a skin has gotten a malicious rating they should email an admin to look into it.
Shells Styles are a WindowsXP feature. If you're using Win2k you won't see the extra goodies. Those features are built into WB4.0 and WinXP only.
I think the record industry would say if you own the record, but have no turntable, you should buy the CD. The law however would allow you to record CD's of your records, or make tapes of them. As far as downloading goes, why would it be any different? You've already paid the label's royalties for the album's content by buying the record. Interesting question...
I've got about 4Gb of mp3's on my desktop system. All but about 30 songs are from my records and CD's that I ripped for my own use. They're all legal (except maybe the 30 or so that came from friends or my son). When Napster was happening I tried it and downloaded a bunch of songs from someone I had just seen in concert, Sarah McLachlan, and the quality of the rips was terrible. I went out and bought 3 of her CD's plus a couple other CD's of artists I had downloaded some samples of. I
Maybe the people just have to show the judge that they actually do own the records maybe... but it will be very expensive lawyer that shows them to the judge, not a "people". Once you are in court defending yourself against a $100,000+ lawsuit, you are screwed finacially. It's like getting cancer but your health insurance doesn't cover it.
It's the weekend, maybe they will take a little time to get to it. They're usually very good about removing rips when notified. Posting a comment probably won't get any action but emailing the admins most likely will. I left a comment too... can't stand rippers...
