24bit color and 32bit color look exactly the same. There is more data in 32bit color which has to do with image format. 8bits of extra binary code in the header for computers to manipulate, like exposure data, transparency etc.

Here's a link to the US copyright office: http://www.loc.gov/copyright/
Anything you create and publish on the internet is copyrighted by you. You don't have to pay for the official copyright licensing. If you still want get an official copyright, you can put everything related together (logos, site graphics, skins, code etc.) and copyright it all with one payment. It takes about 6 weeks to get it registered. You send it to the Library of Congress and last time I looked it cost about $30. You can download the forms from their site. A trademark f
hmmm... it occurs to me maybe you're refferring to all the crazy looking titlebars and buttons in the screenshots here. That's done with a program called WindowBlinds. Browse through this link https://www.wincustomize.com/faq/ and you should find all the info you need to get started.
If you've loaded the WindowsFX software, just start it up set your preferrences in the configuration dialog screen. If you check the box that says run at startup it will always be on when you start your computer. Some of the effects only work on Win2K or XP.
When you offer something for free you can put whatever conditions on it you want. Like saying "you may use this for free if you meet the following conditions" and then just stipulate what the conditions are. As far as rights goes it's the same as non-free stuff since you're not turning it over to "public domain", you're just not charging for it. Enforcing your legal rights on a piece offered for free on the internet however is not practical. About the best you can do without a gazilli
Why does that remind me of Salome and John the Baptist...
When I was in HS I was floored to find out my school had the highest number of drug users in the nation... I thought my friends and I were the only ones...
There's only 471 cursors in the whole section. Edit your account settings to show 50 skins per page and it'll only take 10 clicks to see them all
If anyone feels nervous about participating in this thread you should know, it's okay to substitute your average bowling score for your IQ, whichever is higher. So if your IQ is 101 but you bowl a 155 you are allowed to claim an IQ of 155. Likewise if your IQ is 130 and you bowl a 100 you can substitute your IQ for your bowling average making you much more likely to get asked to join a league.
MadIce - would it be possible for you to modify your excellent winamp plugin to be a Smart Button? Maybe have it activate a fly-out menu with all the controls on it (or at least the 8 most common ones, including vol up & down). That would really be cool...
That's really cool sig - it could be exactly what people are looking for. Thanks for posting the info!
yep... I agree...
The problem with Smart Buttons is the limited number of plugins for them. There's only 4 and 3 of them already have their own button assigments. A lot of skins have Smart Buttons but in my case, I leave them turned off because if they're on by default everyone using the evaluation version of WB gets a black box where the button should be. It's a nice system and would be very usefull if Stardock would provide some more plugins for them. The thing I like is that you can make
It's an interesting idea but if you had an empty button, why not give it a function like notepad or screensaver or something, and the user could still change it if he wants, same as if it was empty. That way you wouldn't have a dud button (which would probably remain that way with 99% of the users).
Before I get slammed for posting leftist propaganda based on media lies, the stories regarding Presidential IQ's are apparently all suspect as only Jimmy Carter ever released his IQ number as tested (175). The original news story on this was used in a Doonesbury cartoon and the ensuing Republican lack of a sense of humor prompted this apology from Gary Trudeau; "Trudeau takes full responsibility, acknowledging the use of fic
actually Dubya's IQ is now officially listed as 91. Interesting since the official number has changed from being originally 76 during the campaign to 81 where it stayed untill a year after he took office and it became 91. It's still the lowest of any President... ever. The second lowest is his father and then Reagan. go figure...
George HW Bush's is 89 George W Bush's is 81 This is according to the original published source (which has since been 'classified' for reasons of national security ) [Message Edited]
That's hysterical, it's so well concieved. He did another one about the NY Times that was equally funny.
I remember the thread but I didn't save the link...
