I wonder if everyone knows you can go into your profile (Edit Account) and optimize a few things there. Under "performance settings" you can turn off the icons for all the listings that use them, select the "speed" setting and restrict the number of skins or news/message board posts that display per page. You can also uncheck any apps that you aren't interested in so your browser doesn't have to load their listings and limit the skins displayed per section with a rating qualifier. Overa

It looks like the other image (the sun one) is lifted right from the website. Probably it's a print-screen of the same plugin running on his machine but it looks identical to what's in the screenshot section of the MilkDrop website. I think this guy should have at least said "this is a screenshot of the MilkDrop plugin by Ryan Geiss" in his comments. I agree it's cheeky to put his name and a copyright symbol on the piece and not mention the source. The plugin designer deserves all the c

I'm running 3.3a on a win2k and an XP box with no issues at all. Could be I'm just lucky but more likely something is goofed up in your installation Russ. Have you tried uninstalling WB and getting an earlier version, like 3.1 to work? If that one runs ok then try installing 3.3a on top of it. It sounds like the problem is with the control panel/display properties interface bit so maybe you'll have to manually delete the .cpl thingy in the Windows directory. --visual styles? u
