I'm lucky to have missed that growing up... I had Gene Autrey's "New Riders of the Purple Sage" instead of Mr. Rogers, it was never a wonderful day in the neighborhood... Happy Birthday sweater guy

No, but I've made plenty of them for clients. The interesting thing I've noticed is most of the sign printers I've worked with (especially the vinyl guys) seem to prefer CorelDraw files. Signs is the only place I've encountered that.

Now that would be a cool plugin! I'm defrinitly looking forward to that one. Great idea GreenReaper. I wish there were more of them available or more Smart Button plugins to choose from. One I'd love to see would be an audio "mute" button.

I did not make a deficient skin because I was smart enough to replace an out of date menu with Quick Launch which everyone knows how to use and has a drag and drop interface. As far as "use" of plugins goes the WBamp is a good example. I programed the buttons to be in what I thought was a more logical order, not the standard everyone uses which mimics the winamp layout. I worked in consumer electronics for twenty years and have designed tape and CD front panel layouts. I find the controls ar

Personal opinions don't make something true for everyone else. Winmenu is only one of three plugins you can use. I've never used it in the years it's been available though some people seem to like it. I find it kludgey and clumsy to use. With the Smart Button for the Quick-Launch menu I see no reason to put winmenu too, it's just clutter. But that's my opinion. To me, having worked in a corporate office (seems so long ago now) screensaver is one of the most important buttons to have. With a pass

I have to add, as one who makes these things, I feel a tremendous warm glow of pride looking around this site at the work of my peers and comrades. I am proud to be here at this time and be one the many who make up this group. In 2002 Windowblinds skinners have shown the world that we kick ass! :)

Amen to that Pat, the contest entries are absolutely mind-blowing. It's a shame there aren't at least 100 gold medals to give out. There are certainly more than 100 skins that deserve them. The participation by the skinners in this contest has been incredible. The best thing about this event is the huge number of great new skins available to us all. I hope you guys can keep this collection on line so everyone will get a chance to try them all. There are too many great skins to go through in

Did you click on the box with the red X in it? That might have been the delete button, in which case your skin would be gone. There's nothing in the queue right now so if it's not posted, send it again. If you hover over the icons that show up on your skins you'll get a tooltip telling you what the button does. There should be one to fix the thumbnail image, one to update the skin and one to delete it.

Thanks for ruining the contest for me Ruinedinc. Since in another thread you said that grayhaze's skin is better than mine obviously my skin getting any recognition is what you're displeased about. Your crack about how they should make all skins blue and grey just to please me just shows you've never even looked at my work. You make underhanded comments about my submissions to the contest which you defend by saying you didn't mention my name or my skin but your meaning is obvious (I've deleted t

Put the wallpapers in the same zip as the skin, (so they'll be placed in the skin's directory) and re-upload the whole thing as a .wba file. That's the usual way to send wallpapers with a WB skin. The user will have to get them from the skin's folder (like fonts and readme files).

When that skin was submitted it was listed as being for LOS. When it got the first award, they mislabled it as DA and that was pointed out but not changed on the list. It has the LOS flag and did from the day it was posted. Whoever types in the results when the list is posted is fallible, as evidenced by the silver medal I got showing as a bronze in the list on the right. At least, as far as LOS (the skin) is concerned that's how I remember it.

I wasn't fishing for compliments (or insults) - just thought it was strange that the decision to change the rules was made so late in the game. I should've read the message board first, I see there's a lot of conversation about the user voting in there.
