Let's see if this works! Abby on the beach: Abby playing in the dog's food (much to the dog's disgust):

Abby turned one in March. She's got the entire family wrapped around her little fingers--it's great fun to watch my dad with her! I'll try to post some pictures of her, if I can figure out how.
"all done", "more", and "milk". Those were Abby's favorites when I saw her in March. I think my SIL mentioned the delayed talking too, as a concern, but Abby is very vocal (if not quite grasping full words yet). I worked at a head start program for a little while with infants and toddlers and there seems to be so many reasons that talking gets delayed in kids that I think it would be hard to scientifically pinpoint signing as the root cause in a parti
I'm impressed you read them both and remembered. *please respond to this in the first post..thank you Well, I suppose the annoying posts can be forgiven if they create a game for us. [again, reply should be posted to the other thread]
She's gorgeous--but you knew that, right? Are you doing any baby signing? Is this common? Are you doing it with Izzy? My sister-in-law started it with my niece and now that she's one she's got quite a few signs down. It's a great tool for before they are talking fully. I hadn't really heard of parents doing it until my SIL started.
All I can say is, "Woah!" Thanks--the "woah" is appreciated. LW--Yes, there will be a talk, eventually. Like when I'm a little less angry about the entire situation. Part of the problem is that there is far too much work (better than no work at all, right?! ha!)--and the rest is that I'm convinced that my one boss is a sociopath. She has absolutely no social skills, is rude, mean and nasty on a regular basis, and can't understand AT ALL how
It's nearly 12:30 in the morning and I am at work. Yup, you read that right. I'm sitting at work. I'm writing a study on a topic that I know very little, but which is completely complicated and mind-boggling. I was not consulted when we bid on this project, I was not asked to estimate how long this project would take, and my suggestions on how to frame
f this crap get to 100 I will vomit. that sounds like a challenge
(happy, shades?) quite. thanks gid. you made my night (which might imply that I need to get out more!).
we're forming a conga line starting at Brad's arsehole Gid, so close to "a congo line of suck holes" but not quite there. I'm still waiting to see the first JUer use it in a sentence--TW and LW have both promised but failed to deliver MM, I don't read the home page so I have no idea who has been featured and who hasn't -but I do make a point of trying to
Explaining? Sure. There are too many inconsistencies with that diagnosis. But again after the fact. The sad fact is that campus Police are not Columbos. In many cases they are not much better than keystone cops (as anyone who has been on a college campus will attest). So in the initial perusal, they blew the call. And many would like to know why and how. But again, I am not going to crucify them because they failed to recognize something they had no experience with. In
That is who I was referencing, yes. reading is clearly not my strong point--sorry. I read that as "it would be" not "it wouldn't be."
Jerk only cause I love ya. glad to see you sense of humor is still intact.
What is a no brainer is when you have two dead people found shot, and no murder weapon, it probably isn't a murder suicide. I find it weird that they are saying that they thought it was a murder-suicide when they were questing the girl's boyfriend who attended nearby Radford. I don't know the accuracy, but what I have heard is that they thought it was an isolated incident of domestic violence. That seems feasible to me--but I do agree Baker, that if t
when they hadda throw their hands in. *groan* Tex--as always, I'm impressed!
I'm allowed to say irritating things like that during my 24-hour grieving period. So what's your excuse the rest of the time? Seriously though, Dan, I'm really sorry this didn't work out the way you wanted. But I'm glad that despite that, you'd still do it again -- there is something to be admired about those people who are willing to take risks (says th
Glad to hear that the trip is going well and that your mom is enjoying herself. She could always start blogging here. It wouldn't be the first regular's mother that participated. Didn't Greywar's mom participate for a while?
I'm so sorry, Tex. I echo LW's sentiment that this sucks.
oh yea, and PS. did frogleg announce his/her retirement? what did we do to enjoy the pleasure of his/her return?
Maybe I completely misread this, but I thought that the point was simply that the President was in a no-win situation on 9/11. Either the plane could be shot down (and the title of this article would have been the resulting headlines) or the plane could strike--not really a choice I would want to have to make. Unfortunately, from what I read, I'm not sure that there was really time to make such a choice anyway (well at least with the ones that hit the twin towers)--and it is unlikely that you
good luck. prayers are heading in your direction.
I've learned that I do not need to be nice to everyone. There are some people who just aren't worth it. I have no need or desire to pretend friendship with back-stabbers. I do not need to play nice with people who lie to and about me. They aren't worth my time. If you really have learned that, you are way ahead of the curve. I'm still working on it. Sou
You got, MM. Prayers are the least we can give to those in our armed forces. If you have an address that you (and he) are willing to share, I'd be happy to send him some goodies.
SPM (for his ability to never, EVER, step out of character) Have you seen this: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=120717126 You'll get your Petey fix--and there are even videos. PS. Hi MM!
I'm so sorry that you went through this FS, but I'm glad you found your little girl safe and sound. I'm also sorry that your neighbors weren't helpful--I find that terribly sad.
