While more information would be nice, every article I've read states: When an Arizona man with tuberculosis didn't follow his doctor's instructions to wear a mask during the summer, he was put in jail. That, to me, means he was told EXPLICITLY to wear the mask and decided not to--I'd imagine endangering the public health is a crime. Also--the article I read said he was from Russia and he got TB there--he came to the US for treatment.

WTF. That's insane--is it even allowed under his contract? I'm sorry to hear it, LW and EOIC. I'll keep a look out for anything that might be of interest. Keep me posted on Frankie--got my fingers crossed that it isn't anything major and, in particular, that it has nothing to do with the recall.
Ok, I have to be honest, you can only have the left foot because I need the right foot for myself. sorry) I'll take whatever I can get!
Always full of cheer, eh, EoI? Any new news on the offer you got?
Yikes about the dental visit! Hope you feel better. Much better, thanks. Also, best of luck with the condo. Sounds like a huge step. It's also ve
Why doesn't Joe User have a category called "mis-mosh" or "stuff I care about that you won't"? Those would be my two favorite categories. So, it's been a while, eh? As we know I adore lists, here we go: 1. In the month of March, I apparently was on a mission to see the southeast. I managed a couple of days in Tennessee, time in N
So far it looks like he'll be coming home at the normal time I let out a little yelp of joy reading that line--I was completely bummed for you reading the blog. Even if it turned out not to be true, it sucks that you thought it and went through all the emotions that accompany it. But (silver linings and all that), it is spectacular how your boys responded--trying to help you out and make you happy. Your kids are precious--but you already know that! <i
Ok, THAT sucks. I'd be pulling my money from THAT bank, for sure! If I hadn't gotten in before the change I'd be gone...but there seems to be a trend to it around here. Maybe it's a DC thing? I concur though--it does suck.
I've never questioned the check cashing fees, personally, or even the ATM fees (don't like 'em? Don't use 'em. It's that simple, folks). It's not actually that simple, Gid. I managed to get my account opened before the policy and so it doesn't apply to me, but at my current bank you are charged $5 for using the teller and $2 for using the ATM. Either way, it's certainly not free acess to my money.
They certainly have been more effective and victorious than over in Harry Reid's Senate, who seems stalled at the starting line. The degree of the majority in the House is very much the reason that Pelosi is more successful than Reid. Without 60 seats in the Senate it is very hard to ram your agenda down the other party's throat--which is what happened in the first 100 hours. (Not that I have any problem with it--it's just the difference between the t
7. in addition to SHE's -- exclamation point, parenthesis, ellipses... 8. lettuce? 9. in addition to SHE's -- skis, snowshoes, sneakers, skates, stockings... (I seem to be on a winter theme)
I thought the exact same thing when I saw this! count me three--and I only realized it wasn't when momijiki pointed it out. Ugh... I'm sure I'm guilty of exactly what you are talking about -- but I'm also more likely to just avoid photos of myself all together! I have a personal website that I just put up photos on and one my friends complained that I was hardly in any of them!
I got one right! VCU over Duke! Yay! What a brilliant end to that game. Now, if someone could just knock out those damn Tar Heels (Tyler Hansborough's mask drives me mental--but I think it has more to do with his thuggishness than his mask, really).
Maso--Sending good wishes that Pumpkin starts feeling better soon. It might not be a furball, I was actually talking to a friend the other day whose cat was ill for weeks and on and off medications. It turned out that the cat had a piece of grass stuck in her nasal passage that just wouldn't move. Once the vet removed it, she was back to her normal self. Best of luck finding out what's wrong, Maso.
Elie, my friend, what a boost to my afternoon to see a blog from you--though I think I'll take a pass on the diet. It doesn't sound like my cup of tea at all. Hope you are getting stronger each day. Sending my love to both you and Colleen.
What makes them different is that they're not taxed and the interest you make on them are not taxed as long as you don't start cashing them in until at least 55 (in most cases). I'm not entirely sure that is true. I thought that traditional IRAs were tax deferred, so that when you start withdrawing after you are 59 1/2 (or whatever age it is), you pay taxes on everything, but this is generally beneficial because it is assumed that you will have less "inc
Marcie--I think I've suggested it before, but you should really check out Suze Orman's book Young, Fabulous and Broke. She does a great job of setting priorities and figuring out what you should be doing and when. Marcie, you should also check out www.ingdirect.com. The interest rate there is around 4.5% right now -- which is close to a CD, but like catco said, you always have access to it. Mourningwould--you should check Orman's book out too, she talks about the different
This is completely off topic, and for that I apologize and will understand completely if you choose to delete this. I'm curious though, as to whether or not your truck has a retrofit (diesel oxidation catalyst or diesel particulate filter) or an auxiliary power unit (APU). If not, is this something you hear about, or is it completely uncommon? I know that there are efforts underway to inform truckers about these devices on the west coast, but I was just wondering if you've had any first hand e
I don't think I made it worse. it looks exactly the same to me as it did before I tried. Somewhere in your original article you are missing a [/u] tag.
tried to fix the underline problem but it didn't work
I really like these sorts of blogs too. You have a great recollection for conversations. I'd like to have that but all I ever remember is useless music trivia. It's because I they run through my head on constant repeat with me thinking (in horror) "Did I really just say that?" That was funny. Thanks. And thanks for the luck with the policeman--I'm sure I'll need it! <div class="Article_Quote"
0 for 1 so far: Alan Arkin wins for Best Supporting Actor.
Today, we got about four inches of the white fluffy stuff. Since Rowan loves the snow (and I'm not such a big fan), these are for him. <img src="http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/4782/
and really, who does want to be called ma'am? Exactly. He was cute though. I mean, a distant second to the police officer, but still very attractive. I am also not a Yankee fan, but you are right, they do hire the best looking men in baseball. Almost makes me hate the team more--talented and sexy. Over achievers!
I saw Gaelic Storm about a year ago. I went for work and wasn't really looking forward to it, but it turned out to be a lot of fun.
