Happy Birthday, FS! I hope you have a brilliant day celebrating with your family--you certainly deserve it!

Congrats! I'm glad to hear you found something so quickly this time around -- and that the work is something you are interested in. Good luck!
I'd love to know what bet he lost!
I think there are plenty of things that we should do to conserve resources And I think this is the key to how to go "green" affordably. Sure, not everyone can afford to drive a hybrid or buy VOC free paint (I had actually never even heard of that), but everyone can afford to turn off the lights when they leave a room, or turn the heat down a few degrees. People can also look into additional efficiency methods that are designed to save them mo
sorry you are in a bad mood, and that orian is still in pain. hope you get some good news on that front soon.
I haven't read all the comments, so I apologize if I am repeating what has already been said. I don't think that I consider what is going on at your school a "lock down." The university that I attended (I started more than ten years ago, eek!!) had the policy at the time. Your key card could gain you access to common areas--and your own suite, but not other suites. The policy just seems to make sense to me. If you don't live there, why do you need to be there? If it is to v
Give Orian a big hug for me. It sucks to be in pain--especially when you don't know what's causing it. Adrian thinks it might be psychological, so he is pushing for me to get the boys into counseling which I have no problem doing and intended to do a while back but got sidetracked. Everytime I read your blog I become more and more impressed with what amazing parents you guys are--involved and progressive. Sending good vibes and posi
I can't imagine saying that I would never do something. It is just so absolute and final, and like Tova said, it feels like tempting fate a bit--and if I can't figure myself out, I sure as heck won't claim to know what anyone else might do in a given situation. That said, I'm very much husband-less so I'm not quite sure why I felt the need to comment. Oh well.
Hope the steak, tylenol and a good night's sleep do the trick.
You are so creative--a laundry party is brilliant. In fact, I think I'm rapidly approaching two feet of laundry so if the TW clan wants to make its way to DC, I'm sure I could find some cool prizes. Those pictures of Izzy are priceless. Please thank Adrian for the letter he sent--I received it yesterday. My roommate's cousin (who is the other recipient of our packages) is expected to b
Oh, man this sucks--on so many levels. I'm so sorry -- I wish I could make it better (but you'll be shocked to learn that the DOD doesn't often (ever?) listen to my recommendations!). I too hope this time passes quickly. You're in my thoughts.
When I heard about this on the radio this morning I thought of you and Tex, and how much this would suck for you guys. You have every right to be cranky (and then some). I'm so sorry that you got this news.
Glad to hear that you weren't hurt. The title had me worried--and thinking "poor Mason, not something else!"
well then this calls for a house warming gift... Colleen and I would be very pleased if you would share your address when you move in so we can send you a little something. While a housewarming gift is not at all necessary, I'd be happy to share my address with you. I'm a bit supersitious, so I am going to wait until after the closing (which is scheduled for mid-May), so that I don't jinx it. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/ju/T_JU/smiles/Wink.gi
your first place? Yes. Very big/scary decision. I almost feel like a grown up! I am always here for you. I assure you the feelings/sentiments are mutual.
I can't validate something I can't see. You are missing the point entirely. It is simply not your place to validate someone else's "godliness" or "ungodliness." Whether or not we, as individuals, lead lives that are pleasing to God can only be determined by God--to think otherwise is simply presumptuous.
Shades: I'm so sorry to hear about your kidney stone experiences. Ouch! Do you still get them? I am feeling very lucky that mine passed so easily. Sorry, I didn't intend to make that about me--how self-centered of me. It was meant to come out as more of a "boy, do I understand what you mean." I don't know that I would say that you passed it "easily"--especially if this is what was causing your pain before. It sounds to me that there was some noticabl
I got it on good info that you will soon have yer own place to live. How is that going? It's coming along--thanks for asking. I'm a bit over the top with it at the minute--it's all I talk about. The home inspection was this afternoon--and it went well. My fingers and toes are crossed that by midMay this place will be mine! Ah, I could talk about this all day long--but that is sure to bore everyone to death, so I won't. How are you feeling th
Ugh. Kidney stones suck. And I remember very well the change in attitude from when I first walked in until they realized I had a stone. Jerks! I'm glad you were able to pass yours, and I hope you don't have any more. I ended up having to have surgery to remove mine--and that isn't something I'd wish on anyone. I love the boys' school photos--and that picture of Orian holding the peep in the egg is priceless.
I really liked the transitions in this one--and the music! good work!
v. cool. I haven't seen the others yet, but will check them out. It's weird to not only put a face with a name, but to put a voice to it, too. Your voice is exactly how I would expect you to sound!
I have no idea what is going on, but I love to see you posting.
as always, i'm late to the party. happy belated birthday!
If you pause to catch your breath this evening, give us a call if'n ya wanna. Unfortunately, I was on call last night--this weekend seems like it will be low key, so expect a call sometime! <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=
amended--upon further review, it looks like he is American but lived in Russia for 15 years. maybe? I'm not really sure. Anyway, I guess the question is at what point does public health outweigh individual rights?
