I haven't used H5O's writer. My mods have been super-simple so far so I've just done them by hand. All I've done is change the occasional number in files that already exist.

Everyone says it's easy to use, though, so it probably is.

No you don't, you can even use a plain text editor and you can create your own mods, Galciv Writer it is rather easier if you take the time to learn how to use it.

Pretty fun game I'm having. I waged a limited war against the Arceans who had about 7 systems. Captured 2, peaced out and now using my superior influence to flip a couple of them.

I agree with Sirian that AIs should never sell their starbases (nor their systems). The influence resource SB sold to me by the Arceans was basically their death warrant.

Just wrapped up my game with the PQ +15% pick. It seems that an alignment of 31 is evil. So "neutral" is at most 35-50 and maybe even 40-50.

I'm ten years into my game with +100% luck. So far nothing "lucky" has happened, but I've gotten a LOT of random morality events.

I probably won't have time to finish this game until the weekend, though, so someone else is going to get game #1000.

I think my next game will be with a large creativity bonus.

Forgot that I was playing a Medium game rather than a Large one. Much smaller overall point increase than I expected. Ah well, I'll play another one soon.

It's all set up for someone to take the Fellowship's 1000th game. :)

Just downloaded a whole bunch of mods especially from our Jedi and Evil friends.

Very interesting trying to grapple with the new things that are appearing, nuclear power plants, tourism, etc. :)

I missed it initially too, Smeagol. It's a new line right under the usual Galciv game line (1.13) in the Games tab.

Have you updated your SDC? You need to go to Settings to "Check for SDC updates on startup".

Have you clicked "Show pre-released versions"?

If you still can't see it, maybe you should reinstall your SDC?
