Hey guys. Wanted to get some feedback from you as to whether you think this would be a good idea or not. After Escalation ships, we are considering creating a multiplayer only edition of Ashes of the Singularity (Tournament). You wouldn't be able to buy this version. Instead, everyone who buys either Ashes of the Singularity or Escalation would get 8 keys to give out to people. Those people could then download the Tournament edition. They'd on

Great! I am hoping as soon as the end of next week. This time, we want to make sure Escalation is PERFECT. So we're not going to hold back the campaign this time.
Sign up here if you'd like to get access to the Escalation private beta. Thanks!
Hello, I bought the main game on gog, which is doing a huge discount. Am I so considered as an "Ashes player" and be eligible for the $20 price tag ? (cf "It's $19.99 for Ashes players and $39.99 for new players"). Or is it also mandatory to own all the DLCs ? Additionnally I have read somewhere that this expansion includes all DLCs (curr
I have one suggestion: please remove the bug that allows players to hear orbitals deployed by the other players without having line of sight to them. I can hear orbital drops like engineer drop, probing force, avatar and so on. Just stop this pls
This is done on purpose.
Re LAN mode, we always play it on our LAN. What did you have in mind?
Wonderful stuff, TicToc. thx everyone!
Ashes is not supcom. There are no such thing as experimental units.
Ironclad and Stardock are listening. :)
Let me see what I can do.
They don't affect ranked MP.
Quoting Frogboy, reply 49 And we do regularly issue balance updates based on listening to feedback. After all the feedback those "tiny maps" still not been fixed. FFS how can you even be making large maps if you can't make small maps properly?
No. We ran into dire usability issues the moment we started testing this. The stats of units in the base game are different in Escalation due to balance changes. We are going to be talking to the community on how best to handle this in the future so we can see under what circumstances we can let both games play some version together.
Options->Turn Bind cursor to bind never.
Quoting Frogboy, reply 40 Here's the problem you face: We don't agree. You insisting you're right is not persuasive. I'm not the one having problem. Also not sure on what you don't agree. AoS doesn't have
Quoting Frogboy, reply 38 Everyone thinks every game has balance issues. The StarCraft forums are full of people who insist the game is horribly balanced. There is no balance in MP that will satisfy the player who has lost in multiplayer.<br
Quoting DanailLazov, reply 34 That's the kind of mindset that is likely to make people hate (Read some Total War - Warhammer reviews related to pricing policy). You are not selling groceries to put a price tag on each and every feature. You are selling an experience
Push something through steam to all current ashes owners. That seems plausible??? Everyone who already owns the game gets this one. As long as you purchase before Sept 30. And Done.
We don't know when someone purchases the game. That is precisely how the issue happened in the first place. We thought we could si
Paid over $60au for the original game, almost $10au for each dlc, can't see where to get founders upgrade for this new game, so another $30-40au? When it's now $13us in steam? When I click upgrade on the stardock site it takes me to steam, where it's the same price as there sale price =/ If I buy Escalation can I gift the base game to a friend that doesn't have it? Seeing as a founder I&#
My pleasure! Cheers!
As a person who's played a few stardock games and enjoyed them, upon hearing that this new game they've developed called Ashes of the singularity has finally had the bugs ironed out and the game improved on I was keen to buy it. Especially so when I signed into steam today and discovered a 75% off until August 30th. However imagine my surprise when I discovered that a stand alone expansion of Ashes of the singularity was due to com
Hmm, so, the Expansion pack is basically stand alone, which means that the people who play that, can't play with the original AoTS people fairly, correct? (Since all the new additions.) Does that mean, the original AoTS is basically finished, or are the improvements (game engine) from the Expansion coming to the original as well?
No. We want to use the Escalatio
If I had my way, I would nearly give away the games. I just want people to play our stuff. But when you want other services to sell your games, you have to take their needs into account as well.
Nice find. I'lll forward this.
Yea. Blech. Removed it.
