Another question for the devs, are we getting another update this month that adds the New Defense building: PHC Long-range Artillery?
I am not sure. I don't think so though. We're all working on the big v1.5 update.
Frogboy can you tell me what are plans for the for the multiplayer in the future? In german magazines they all called the game a multiplayer game and I see this in other magazines as well and this is in fact the case why I bought the game. I played the campaign but I can not really call this a reason for buying the game for a single player game experience (my experience was even more disturbed through the bad german translation). Yesterday

The people on Steam are having fits because they don't like seeing the Steam forum split between two games. But yea, think of the base Ashes as being Ashes: Wings of Liberty and the new Ashes being Ashes: Heart of the Swarm.
StarCraft: Heart of the Swarm and StarCraft: Legacy of the Void are both expandalones. An expandalone just means you don't have to purchase the original game. Someone with Ashes of the Singularity can get Ashes of the Singularity: Expansion Name for a highly discounted price (something StarCraft did not provide for Heart of the Swarm players).
We'll keep an eye on him. We get a lot of post-game data.
2. I don't think any or at least many of us are that miffed about replays not being in on release....the fact that their inclusion keeps getting pushed back on the other hand is borderline egregious. I mean come on, just say it. I almost admire how willing you are to tell your community they are wrong, but on this matter, I think it'should clear you guys dropped the ball. Wouldn't be so bad if you just kinda said it....
Dropped the ball in
No Replays. Big -1 on that decision. that's how you learn where you went wrong in multiplayer. Sadness.
I suspect more customers will pick more than doubling the number of players per map than having a replay option first. The engineers had to pick which to work on first. I should also point out that Supreme Commander and FA were no
This is totally bizarre to me. I don't know where to begin. I don't know why I expect people to make sensible use of their leisure time. To the devs I will say that you might be creating a self-fulfilling prophecy by focusing on this stat: when you pumped last second time/personnel/ and resources into single player, you must have done this at the expense of multiplayer, right? I think no
A Vulkan version won't affect player counts. Lowering the hardware requirements and increasing skirmish replayability is the key. Remember Homeworld: DOK? It's at lower numbers and that has the Homeworld license. Giving away DLC would be a fast way to end development on Ashes and move to a different project. It's DLC that funds development and it sells well.

What would you recommend in its place to make Dreadnoughts more robust? Maybe a timed healing?
Right now the plan is to keep it 6 player for now for MP while we privately increase it and test it. Right now, we are not satisfied with the stability of Multiplayer as is and are still trying to investigate the issue. The current consensus is that Steamworks isn't used to the amount of data we flood their pipe with so we either have to work around that or we have to decrease the amount of data we're sending.
