Actually I just noticed that in the new version of SkinStudio, PerPixel seems to have been removed from specification for the start menu. In the previous version I was using, I would enable both transparency and translucency but for the start menu, any pixel that wasn't 100% transaparent showed up as black.

J00 MUST BE teh l33T HaX0Rz!!!!1
Anyone figure out a way to get rid of these without manually pushing the pixels?
Don't respond to the thread and let it die. Forgot to do a search first. Carry on...
How's the math work on that list?
What WB version? Anyone else not getting the background transparency?
Thanks, Cerebro, let me work out some bugs that NightTrain and Hus have found. Thanks also, DWatson. The background on the min/max/close buttons should be, well, there's shouldn't be one. It's supposed to be transparent. What color are you getting?
Thanks, NightTrain. Signing up now...
You mean you're not? Well now's your chance! Anyone want to help beta test my first skin? Just want to make sure I've got all the kinks worked out.
I was having the same problems so I fiddled with the settings and changing the "Always on Bottom" to "Normal Window Z-Ordering" seems to have fixed it.
Comet Cursor maybe?
Furthermore, always check the spelling of your topics prior to posting...
Okay, I just asked myself if I could use my icons... Now what's a polite way to deny permission without seeming too pompous?
While we're talking about permissions, do I need to include a permission file if I'm using my own icons in a WB skin?
I just about completed my very first skin today. I put the final animation in place and I'm just sitting back and enjoying my own work. Everything seems to run fine. The little error checker thing comes back without finding anything. What's left to do? I think I'll add a substyle with a compact menu! Next thing I know, half of my files have completely vanished. All taskbar, start menu and toolbar images along with my AVIs are just gone without any warning whatsoever. Fortunately for me,
I just skinned the ones you see in Explorer and the fonts folder. Other than that, I don't know where the other ones are located. I think I'll replace the "cell phone" icon with a message written in 1pt font that says "If you find this and can read it, I'll send you 20 bucks".
What changed in the new version?
Seems like a great place to hide easter eggs....
Completely off topic but I'm reminded of a joke: There is a difference between peeing in the pool and peeing into the pool..... I found out the hard way.....
I'm looking at the Explorer toolbar icons and I've never even seen half of these? A) How do I test them? B) Should I even bother to skin them in the first place?
Cool, so it's a known issue then and I can stop searching? I'm working on my first skin, so I wouldn't know. I figure, I've never even seen this screen until reading the Documentation thread so I won't really worry about it too much.
Grab your monitor and scoot it a few pixels to the right.
Where are these atributes? Right now the skin I'm working on shows it as white text with a black hover.
My cat's breath smells like cat food.
After a quick look, it probably has something to do with the frameset on the .tk page. I haven't messed with frames in awhile so I'm not sure why it would push the width.
