Well, I've been using Mozilla for close to a year now, no problems whatsoever. I've had some performance problems where I've had to unload and reload WindowBlinds. You might want to try unloading and reloading it.

I had started out with 24bit color, however many of my images used 40 or fewer colors and thus I was able to reduce by quite a bit.

Koasati, if you use the advanced features of any IM client, you want to use the client made specifically for that service. Trillian is good if you just do regular chatting and simple file sharing.
