Nyah Nyah Once you start something you can't kill it, only let it die a natural death. Abortion is for the real world, not WC.
Aqua.
Of course, they could simply make sure it worked right in the first place. But without buggy software why would you pay for upgrades? Microsoft learned this particular trick years ago.
I don't know about XP, but with 98 it was 100% safe (well, mostly). The only thing you have to be careful to do is backup your old boot screen in case you want to restore it. This is something that can easily be done in a program. Maybe stardock isn't doing it because it's just too easy
Who moved my bridge?
ACK! I can't believe I actually posted that AOL should incorporate ads into their free browser. Whatever was I thinking?
Alright, I'll be honest... My primary browser is Mozilla, it's enough for me that it's open source, even if it is heavily sponsored by a corporation, it sure doesn't hurt that it's a pretty damn good browser. While I also confess to having an AIM account, I proudly use Trillian to use it (along with IRC, ICQ, YIM, and MIM). I figure that I'm getting the benefits of those services without having their software on my computer. Yes, Trillian is a company, but it's not an AOL company. Sa
I'll say this for it, it sure is fast! Hmmm, I wonder if this will end up being Netscape 8 or 9... As for you geekboy, shame on you for using that corporate AOL, thing, lol. While I have it myself, I proudly only use it when testing web sites for browser compatability. *so says the anti-AOL snob*
Have they dumped Composer yet?
Thanks for contacting Pat, he just emailed me. Hopefully it'll get taken care of this time.
I wish I actually got Alexandrie's Library, all I actually get is a blank page saying "Alexandrie's Library".
I just clicked on the "My Skins" link up top and got the following: "Alexandrie's Library" What's up with that? Shouldn't it read Jobeleca's library or something?
News to me
Ok, so I should just be patient huh.
Same problem here. I have purchased the whole OD suite, crossreferenced, and am still at user level 2. I contacted Stardock tech support, but after 2 emails they simply stopped replying and I'm still stuck at level 2.
How long does it normally take between submitting a wallpaper and it going up on the library?
SP1 for what?
Actually, DIV tags could be used for the columnar layout (see glish.com for examples). The downside to this would be sacrificing people visiting the site with version 4 and earlier browsers. In any case... it takes much less time to render DIV tags than tables and the code is cleaner as well. </A
I usually do a screenshot and open it in PhotoShop where you can measure it in pixels or real world measurements.
What are some good programs for making quality wallpapers? I can do the more rudimentary 'papers, but what do ya'll use for those beautiful abstract wallpapers?
I'm glad WinCustomize now has more bandwidth to play around with. I definitely appreciate having the site load in under a minute on a modem. However, more can still be done. I understand why the site has a pretty interface seeing that this is a skinning site and all. However, there should be a stripped down version for regular modem users. My settings are optomized for speed and hidden icons, and it still has images and ultra-nested tables up the wazoo. Using a three column
Beware the EULA
Hopeful request, could you do a WB skin based on Mozilla/Netscape? There's only a couple out there and they have serious bugs.
Don't stop your uploads You're one of a very select group I automatically download because I know whatever it is... it's very good.
Yes, I do log in each time because my browser automatically clears all cookies when it closes.
Whenever I change the "Available Libraries:" settings the changes don't stick. Basically, the changes stick while I'm still logged in. However, if I close the browser and then go back to the site and log in, the settings are back where they were before I modified them. Note: While I sometimes can switch one item for another and have that stick, if I select less than 14 items it always resets it so that there are 14 items checked next time I log in. <A HREF="https://www
