I don't usually read the Drudge Report, but a friend sent this to me and I found it amusing. I share the author's hopes that we do not start seeing them in matching outfits. Link

Emergency work on our most recent software release has caused work on the next year's build slip a couple months. Because we have a hard deadline for this current version, we have to address any and all issues that pop up as the highest priority. This means that parallel work for the next two major releases (a one year schedule) has suffered. That's not such a big

Many years ago, when I was in college, I had an experience that changed the way I look at the world. Several friends and I were gathered in one of our dorm rooms. We had a night of movie watching and drinking ahead of us, and one of my friends was cooking some Cajun food for us. This friend, Dom, was from New Orleans, where his parents owned a restaurant.

"No, I mean, I realise, it's like, you're living on an island, but you're also a country, but you're also a continent. So I know there's a lot of confusion there, right? Well, I guess that might be confusing to someone that can not keep more than two ideas in mind at a time (the average person can keep about

CS Guy - Either I'm living with my head in the sand (quite possible), or you haven't been introduced to the same caliber of "slack-jawed booger-eaters" that I have. (Look, a grey-ism.) I think maybe it's just that I am easily amused.

You're an even more interesting character than I had suspected. It's been my experience that most people are.

I scored 15 (Bill Clinton) and I'm pretty conservative, I'm just not religious. Alot of those questions seemed to me to be based on the idea all republicans are religious zealots. It must be a left wing conspiracy to make everyone appear liberal. Well, as a Libertarian, I have a problem when people try

CS- I wonder if people like Bill O'Reilly think they REALLY have no bias. The poll of journalists showed that almost all of them thought they were not biased. I imagine that includes journalists with a conservative bias. So I'm not sure if it is fair to say that ONLY liberals tend to think they are no

I get called cute quite alot....I'd prefer to be called sexy but what the heck Some guys, like me, find cute to be very sexy. But only where women are concerned. In most cases cute is boring.

Heh... I've always like that one. This is the transcript of an ACTUAL radio conversation of a US naval ship with Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland in October, 1995. But I think it is important to point out that this is a joke, as you have said, and that it did not act

I think that it is fairly common for liberals to not think they're liberal. This is certainly true of journalists. I read a report recently (I'll try to find it) that polled Americans asking if they thought there was a bias in the media, and something like 70% said they thought there was a liberal bias

26 for me. But this is a 1-dimensional scale, and there were many questions that I did not feel comfortable answering in any available way.

True, but why do women like that use their sex as a weapon? Because in many situations it is an effective weapon. If it works for them once, they are going to try it again. I once had a friend tell me that she was able to get an A in any class that was taught by a male. I didn't ask for details.</fon

(for those of you not in the know about little ol' Rhody (my home state), it makes Massachusetts look like the religious right)! Did you just use a parenthetical clause inside a parenthetical clause? Spooky! What about those who are not in the know about Rhody nor Mass?
