It's convenient not tohave any sympathy for the down and out, but we must remember that most people in county lockups aren't the "hardcore" criminals of Oz, they're the lightweights, and, quite frequently, the truly innocent. I didn't know you're a bleeding heart Gid, and these guys ( and women too) aren't "down and out", the

I dont know about St.Paul's, but I do know that many jails allow inmates to purchase additional food from a commisary. So they could supplement their diet with other food stuff as well. Yep, and if they work in jail they can earn enought ( even though the wages are ridiculously low) to get snax. If one works in the kitchen,&n

To HELL with the Constitution. I don't think any Constitutional rights are being violated since the county changed the number of hours between "feedings" for them. People in hospitals go from 5 at night til 8 in the morning before breakfast. So I truly fail to see the problem there. While we're at it, let's execute everyone who

Things are going along swimmingly well here, no new outbreaks of serious diseases, no landlord just walking into my apt. when he feels like it, no shortage of food, and man oh man there's lots of heat in MN.! Just when it finally cooled down to a comfy 74 degrees, the weather did an about face, again. That's the mid-west for ya. <FONT face=Taho

The inmates in Dakota County, MN. have it soooooooo bad, my GOD! Seven days a week, 365 days a year, they get to have two bologna sandwiches, along with fruit, like an orange and cookies and chips. That's what they get, 5 days a week, and on weekends they get two meals a day. Brunch and supper. They threw a fit claiming it was against their "rights" to have sooo many hours between meals,

It's very frustrating to not understand how to do things with a computer! All I wish to do is establish a free counter on my blog, and do you suppose I can figure it out? Heck no! :( So I will have to ask for help, from JoeUsers and also my son, if he's out there somewhere, in puter land... Please?&

It's been my experience that moving, even though it's usually wanted and almost always a change for the better, is STILL an un-nerving event. there's always the trying to decide where one wants things, and then they get moved around again, and there's the stumbling in the dark, being used to a different layout.. Hope it works out for you and that you feel at home without too much homesickness or headaches!

Sequence is fun isn't it?! My son and I have played it and enjoyed it immensely, I think was it truly the best part is the laughing and good feelings that come out. Glad to hear another persons' life is stable and happy after living in chaos...way to go! Yes, my life too is good. Any day I can walk to the kitchen to make toast and coffee, and see the sunrise, I too am blessed <

Anyway, it inspired the question of whether or not you (readers) still have a VCR yourself and/or whether you actually use it for anything if you do? Yep! still have two of em, and use them for watching movies. Some of my favorite movies are dirt cheap right now VHS, ain't gonna replace all of my VHS movies with DVD's though.

That fountain looks like it would have a calming effect on people, the kitchen picture is quite ahhh, well it's like the dream of every guy, of how, say Paris, should look That one of the young girl is very haunting...very nice. It's hard to put in into words just how a person's perspective enlarges when he knows another language or can see for himself what things are like in another country. I would advise anyone, no matter what age, to take a language course. I think you put it into words very well, how fortunate you could live and learn another culture! Exciting! My kid sis and me used to talk to each other, at the supper table, in spanish, and it drove my mom cr

She gave a caftan that is satin in fabric, and the colors are rich and vibrant. Col

There've been times when I wonder just what is being said about me. Yeah, yeah, I know I'm somewhat paranoid there. I was once intro duced to the mom of my Mexican boyfriend, and she told him I was too fat ( she spoke in Spanish to him) and I caught every word and replied to her comments....<img src="../images/smiles/lol.gif" border=0 AL

In 5th grade we were required to take two years of French, and then in high school I chose to take Spanish for two or three years. I WAS fluent in Spanish, however have forgotten how "conjugate" verbs..still remember a few expressions, can carry on somewhat of a conversation. The French I had to take is totally gone from my memory, except for words like the word for flower, just the occasional expression I might remember...hmmmm, might be fun

Police report: 2:40 A.M. man reported loud noise coming from garage, turned out to be his son who accidently locked himself inside while drunk. ! sounds like something I used to do "back in the day" when I used to drink! circa 1967-69 <img src="../images/smiles/jok
