Looks like DA is back.......

Dan3D, I would send an email to: [email protected] [email protected]
Well, that is pretty blatant...
OK, I am a total failure... What would be nice to see is that C|Net is showing this many downloads for: Windowblinds 3,147,494 DestopX 555,363 Icon Packager 667,876 Control Ctr 114,629
All right, It seems comma's are wreaking havoc on the links again.. Just copy the garbage below and click on the link below then paste it to the end. This should work, I hope http://download.cnet.com/downloads/ 1,10150,0-10000-103-0-1-7,00.html?titlename=&author=stardock&desc=&qt=&ca=&os=&daysback=&li=&dlcount=&dlsize=&queryType=powersearch
Take a look at the link below, I was amazed at the numbers... Then think of all the other sites, Stardock itself, PC World, Tucows, superfiles, etc.. http://download.cnet.com/downloads/1,10150,0-10000-103-0-1-7,00.html?titlename=&author=stardock&desc=&qt=&ca=&os=&daysback=&li=&dlcount=&dlsize=&queryType=powersearch
Steve Gibson - Very, very interesting fellow... http://grc.com/

Snowman, How do you expect WC to offer what it does not have! It has given what it can, but there is nothing left. Bandwidth is expensive and not limitless, so a small minority will have to be limited so the vast majority of this "community site" can still enjoy it. Life is full of limits, hope you'll reconsider...
The only way I know of to get Object Bar at the moment is through a Object Desktop subscription. Object Bar is currently in Beta, hopefully to be released soon!
I guess we can infer that digital social interaction resembles that of physical social interaction.
Well, I run 98SE at home and plan switch to XP as soon as I can get Dell to ship it to me. I think Craeonics might be underestimating the general public on this. I think most people would love to change their desktop they just lack the know-how and the patience. I see people every day changing everything from colors to icons to wallpapers on their machines. While basic, they still want their machine to be an extension of themselves. XP will introduce a basic customised desktop to the masses. I b
Wow... 600K Unique visits... Wow!
You need the Object Bar program which is available through Stardock, Link: https://www.stardock.com/products/objectbar/
There is no easy way to change the icons in the Control Panel in Windows. Another Microsoft quirk, Sorry...
deadman, All of the WinAmp skins here have a cbuttons bitmap within the skin zip. Download a few examples, open the skins zip, and then open the cbuttons bitmap within. After looking at few you should get the idea of how they are built. Use them as a guide to build one of your own...
Hehe.. Looks like it made it. http://scripts.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?TEST=JUNK&searchtext=notes&library=13&sort=updatedate&order=Descending
What is that a fireball out of the donkey from hell... While I'm working on it I would ask that nobody bother me.
Not exactly sure what the above means... But I have noticed in WB3 that the "Make desktop icon text backgrounds transparent" doesn't seem to function properly in 98SE. Outside of that I can only say outstanding, especially access through display properties!
It was probably "moderated"...
I think this is long overdue. My personal opinion is to flip that switch permanently. Just think of these sizes that are being thrown around so casually, 10Mb! Let's say the average .wba file is about 100K and .dxtheme is 1500K , with that you could download 100 Windowblind skins or 6 DX Themes. How much do you need to try out "shareware" for evaluation. And it seems we are talking about the people who are just playing around for 30 days and never registering. How much does Stardock owe those wh
Ohhh, I love announcements.... and I can't wait to see the Skincast functionality in WB3!
If you have WB installed it should be as easy as unzipping the file and double clicking on the ".wba" file inside. Alternately you can open WB config and load the skin directly out of the zip file. If this does not work the file might be corrupted. Most other sites are fine to download from, like the ones in the community box to left.
If you download the shareware version from somewhere like C|Net, it is a .exe installer. It should start the install with a double click. If you are going through Object Desktop then download through Component Manager and click install. If you just downloaded a theme from the library on this site you will need the Windowblinds program first. Check here: http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0-1461954-100-6371346.html
I think the press conference was today and the expected release date to the general public is October 16th. I don't know about the skins, just have to cross my fingers...
