You make stuff up about the Bible all the time.[/quote]Name ONE instance ... and don't give me this shit about being tired or not ... how could you possibly know yourself unless god sat you down and actually told you the facts of life, as opposed to your reading someone else's thoughts on the matter, which is all you have, a silly un-authored book. The bible doesn't need me to rip it a new arse, the barbarians

Lula, I understand perfectly where you are coming from, been there done that and never going back. This is the problem: were Zeus to mystically materialize in your church and explained the facts of life, you wouldn’t believe even him just because he is the wrong god (that is just how the gods work, all of them). Maybe your god will do this himself one day, but surely not until he stops hiding from the universe too.

To call oneself a Christian today doesn’t tell anyone much besides maybe that they are believers in Crist. Beyond that the sky is the limit. There are a thousand different ‘sects’ of Christianity alone and the bible is used exclusively by all of them to justify their peculiar flavor of Christianity. How does the Christian (ANY) sale pitch start? All you have to do is believe in Jesus as your god and have faith in him, alway

Jythier, could you please explain the realistic logic for this statement considering there are many religions, many bibles and many different words from the gods: "Your bible is the inerrant word of everyone's god because your bible says so"??? It seems that everything in your bible makes sense to you ... but we will have to take one issue at a time.

To classify a belief as delusional, it must meet the following requirements: It cannot be based on our physical reality in any way because it must be miraculous, beyond human ken. There can be no real world evidence for its existence because some might eventually think to look for it. Nothing else matters. Faith is unreliable, harmful and so unnecessary. If one has evidence, there is no need of faith because you have the evidence.

David, I don’t care what someone else wants to believe in because I have no control over their thoughts and it is their right.
