Wincustomize RSS Newsfeed is busted :( in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I know its small matter (after all, I don't know many folks use it) but Wincustomize's RSS newsfeed is no longer working due to what looks like bad XML. This seems to be a result of the The Skins Factory news item which includes a "&" [title]Xbox and The Skins Factory Release: MechAssault & Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell WMP Skins[/title] & is an escape character in XML, so its getting confused with the & followed by a space. Two ways, one way is to pick the skins you want to package. The other way is to set your desktop up the way you want, then tell Winstyles to use the current deskstop skins. You're almost there. Don't use the obpack which is a skin for Objectbar. You're using WindowBlinds which skins the windows,taskbars AND the start menu and taskbar. the skin you want is this one: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=Copperdeck&sort=updatedate&order=Descending&library=1 For the icons, you'll want to download and install Icon Packager (look for the help/about link in the icon packager secton of the library). That is not a style XP theme. That is an object bar theme and requires objectBar. That particular theme mimics the XP start menu and task bar of TreeTog's WindowBlinds theme. You would use the ObjectBar program to use it. However, from what I can tell, that theme is really meant for folks who don't have Windows XP and want that type of startbar. Netcaptor already does that I've used Mozilla for a while (including the Multizilla addon for enhanced tab functionality), and while it comes close it doesn't have the full functionality and behavior in Netcaptor that I've grown to appreciate. I agree with Tarkus. Mozilla's nice but still has a way to go. I'll stick to Netcaptor: 1. All new windows upon up as new tabs. None of this goofy Javascript stuff that launches an entirely new window. 2. User-specified aliases. I type "wcm" in the address bar and it takes me to the wincustomize message board page. Do you mean like the Windows XP start menu? If that is what you mean then no, WindowBlinds won't do that because Windows ME doesn't have Windows XP style start menu.
