I guess I'm different. when I first started here like a few months ago I think I fell in love with skins and downloaded like crazy. But then again the only reason I found out about this site was because I bought windowblinds. then I bought the update and got the object desktop subscription. yeah, it did happen that way.... for some reason I thought I ssaw the site first and then bought some "stuffs" from wincust. interesting........

I guess. 70 wallpapers is allot. But what if the downloader was tasting bits here and there? 20 wallpapers, 100 windowblinds, 5 objectbars, 10 winstlyes and so on..... Well... just a thought....

How many people in here are in school?? and how many people in here are in IT? I personally am in school and focusing on a career in database analysis and design (Systems Analyst) with a minor in web deisgn and internet security. I also have a degree in Architecture but it turns out that I just like that as a hobby and not a career (but I still think I should try to get liscenced. It wouldn't hurt).

theory.... how come the people who start these threads never have a skin that they designed on there account? And this "email bomb" doesn't sound to nice. And it sounds like a good way to get in trouble. BTW: has there been allot of problems with the 100mb limit download? IMHO I thought it was too low to really experience the site. It seems that Mac ads never really are any good as far as selling there product. I lok at Mac's and wonder why they don't sell more of them. Then I look at the ads and say to myself why switch? I don't know.... I was reaing what nethell9 who started the thread and all I can say is how can you be on the site for years downloading "stuffs" and not have appientace class? If yu had ths class then you would not, I believe, hhad any problems downloading more "stuffs". Further more, years is a prety long time using something that somebody programmed. I think if there are any success stories i would be the Skins Factory. I do not know if they do it full time but it would seem that any company who does this full time also does other mutlimedia design. As in not just "skinning" applications for PC's or Mac's (or even Linux). I strongly think that if skinning is going to be the only revenue source then the person must have allot of clients and is very well known so they can uptain higher pricing. My personal most used skin is SETI in Glass by DavidK. When I'm working hard scripting html or C++, I use this because of the features and shortcuts. My second windowblind would be work while on fire by Chadamus for mostly the same reasons. As for painting art it is Frida Kahlo As for Architect would be Antonio Gaudi, MIES Van Der ROHE, Alvar Aalto and me of course (but I am not licensed yet so I can't call myself an Architect)

I believe there is a WindowBlind called MSN Explorer 5 by tHECaT2000. The rest like windows media player and winamp can be found on those sites. It will take a while to find because the are on the last pages of winamp.com and microsoft.com web site. well that is all the MSN stuff I can think of. I do not think there are cursors for Sputnik. If you have CursorXP than maybe you can make your own. It would seem easy to do. Just ckick the configure button in the mouse properties window (from the control panel from your computer) and double click on the cursor you want to change. I do not know what color is the transparancy but I will guess it is white or maybe pink. So, get some image from Sputnik or create your own and save it as a png file or a bmp file. ciao <img s

I do believe some skins to do some strange things some times. I remember using Photoshop and some skins actually caused the cursor to not work when I wanted to transform a image. It was shifting something over or something. I personally did not care to much about that problem but after downloading the latest version I no longer have this problem with thos piticular skins. i agree with Boxxi. I think Litestep is more programmer heavy. I looked at it myself and amazed by its power but there is that programming thing. So DesktopX would be easier or NextStart. I like DesktopX..... NextStart seems to be more like Object Bar but more intergrated.
