Balance is great at this point. Much easier for the Terran to stay alive and not get attacke early in the game. One suggestion - increase the size of the galaxy to the enormous level as in GC Gold OS/2.

Been having crashed to desktop also. Can go back to game where it crashed, and in some cases it plays on, others it continues to crash. It seems to do so when I am in the middle of an attack. Also, I have colonized a planet in Aline space and come back later to find the planet has been given to that race. Never told the game to do that.
How about a.k.a the Outsiders from GC Gold for OS/2? Can be a real pain.
Nice gives a better view of the ship and its abilities.
Stillhaving problems with ships not moving while on autopilot. Have had 2 or more Colony ships just stop moving. Had to go in and manually cause them to move by clicking on them and a new destination. Seems to be affected by the movement or lack there of of the survey ships.
Along with what you are describing I am still having problems with ships on autopilot not moving. Not as bad as in previous BETA Releases, but it stil happens.
same here about colonization. It takes several seconds to bring up the intial screen, than the second screen comes up, but the "done" button" does not appear for about 3 seconds.
remember a similar bug in GC Gold where one race would surrender to another, than a turn later, the opposite would happen. Lost two of races to me, the Dregins to a minor race.
Sounds great on the ship movement. Hope it works. HAving same problem in Gigantic Galaxy. Now if they would add the Enormous Galaxy as in GC OS/2!
Has anyone been having a crash to the Desktop when trying to Select Advanced Trade Tech as the next build?
RE Registered today. Scores are up.
The only real problem that I have encountered is a long pause when submiting my scores. Almost like GC is locked, can last 2 to 3 minutes. Then it reverts back to the start screen. Ideas? BTW, I did register, but no scores show up.
Did have times when playing GC Gold that I had one or two other races at the same stage in developments as myself, in some cases barely ahead of me. So to move forward I needed the best to take from the best. That is why stealing Techs can also help late in the game if your back is to the wall!
The Battle Star was cheaper, I believe that both were about the same speed. Either way, the firepower was a great thing to have in many games. Game in handy in the last few turns.
The Avatar is costly and slow to build, and slow in movement. But it does cause the other races to reconsider any hostile intent if you have a few. The Excaliber should be the next one added. The ship was a Stealth Crusier.
Does this exist? I develop the Tech but No Excaliber Class Starship. Perhaps I am missing something?
It was a random event, and some times it was a tech that you already had. Hopefully, it will be added.
Good feel and must quicker response.
Make that two more machines with the DGM udate installed, but no GC showing. (:(
Still have the problem concerning Auto Pilot in both the Gigantic Galaxy and Huge Galaxy. Gets freustrating to find another race on the system you were after, only because I forgot to keep the ship moving.
Great idea, will change the tenor of the game and more to the depth. Could even be applied to a Enormous Galaxy as in GC Gold OS/2.
Lost sound just in GAL CIV. Playing BETA 1Y also, same sound lost problem. Noted that the Game play slowed down at the same time.
Another thing that could be used from the OS/2 version is when in Combat and you take a advesaries planet you can get a Technology, that you don't have, if the Advesary has that Tech built. The Advesary can do the same.
Ship Ranges are a must. How about stackable Warships which can be sent to a location with only one click on the top ship of the stack. Worked will in GC OS/2. Fox the Auto-Pilot feature, especially bad at the Gigantic Level Galaxy. Too many double cliking on a ship to get it to move, some times 2 turns will pass before the ships can move.
Will do so as soon as I can.
