Entrepreneur is listed as abandonware I hope that if you all do not still sell Entrepreneur that you will allow it to remain on this abandonware site. as I see it they take great pains to tout the sequels to it ( and other titles are done the same way ). and I would think it can only help sell the current versions. once the trouble starts though. you can't get out of it. no way to sell off stuff either to help. essentially the income need to bottom out somewhere where at 0 spending you can still get out of it. say you start losing ships, then facilities, untill you are positive profit again. moral needs to bottom out at a level where if you are at say 20% tax then you don't lose more moral ( and lower income) due to being broke. not sure how precisely, but it is a problem.

I do not like the way money is being handled. if you get into negative cash without realizing it, thats the end of the empire. moral drops and even if you cut spending to nothing, maintenance alone is more than you can get for incoime. no way out of it. death spiral. even lowering taxes to nothing has no effect on moral, it keeps droping along with your bank balance.

actually EU DOES address some issues regarding research. The farther ahead you are in research over the other countries, the more it costs to do the research. if you are farther behind, it is cheaper to research. basically it takes into account the spread of knowledge. as one country made advances they affected the surounding countries, information leaks, and knowledge spreads. however if you are farther ahead than the others, YOU are doing all the basic research, no influx of knowledge from oth

yet another realism we must consider. after each fundamental break through there is a time where technology is slow to appear based on the break through, until a firm grasp of a new technology is realized. then a period of fast developement where new devices becomes available based on the key technology. research into new technology then slows until another fundamental break through. take batteries for example. Lead Acid: HEAVY, LARGE, unsutable for portable devices, must be k
