Is that what you call the hand you mastubate with?

Champas and I had a period where we had to give everybody a copy of Life of Brian for their birthday. It was our mission that everybody should get a copy. Now we are on to, or least I am on to getting everybody a copy of World of Chicken by Nick Earls. As for Valentines Day what can I say, it was just another day for me......*sigh*
Glad to see that irony doesn't go flying completely over your head FlamingViolet. Just ignore that whoosing sound and your mussed up hair. I thought it was funny. Good work Champas.
I've never read anything about taoist thoughts on nothingness until after I read your post. Here something I got of the web though: Affirmation of Nothingness Taoism places value on nothingness, and facing the void is not a source of dread. On the contrary, the acquisition of material goods, knowledge, wordly p
Despite appearances it is still trying to derail it. One thing I don't want to do with this series is ignore the fact the money does serve some purpose. I could easily just trash the notion and focus on all the negative things about it. That would be no help however when I get to seeking alternatives, before you can seek something better than money you have to know what it does well. If you wanted to replace the monetary system I don't thin
You may have a point there, in that case I'll act really boring and mainstream around them so the rebel and become unique and quirky. Cheers mate, Toblerone J. Aardvark
Yeah I think *they've found that all this "tell me about your childhood" crap basically results in you digging up memories that your mind has kindly repressed to keep you sane. It can help understand why you are the way you are but it doesn't actually help you recover. *They have also found that keeping a diary can be bad in a similar way. Basically your mnd repress stuff for a reason, so you get on with your life. *By "they" I mean researcher
The real question is can any name be more "real" than another name. The name you are given at birth is just an arbitary sound ascribed to your coporeal being. Toblerone J. Aardvark is actually the name I wanted to call my son if I ever have one. Since I don't think I'll meet a girl that crazy I figured it may as well be my screen name. I chose Aardvark because I figure that way your name is at the top of any list and it gets you noti
I agree women are the best. and you just happen to be a particularly fine example of one.
Today we will do a thought experiment, a silly one but bear with me. Try this at home kids, no need to be a trained professional. Okay, just imagine that everything as is just as it is now but without money. It is as if this hypothetical world is a movie on DVD and we’ve press pause and erased the concept of money from the heads of all the actors in this movie. After
What can I say, I agree totally. I recently wrote and and article called "All men are arseholes...and nice guys finish last" Link where I try to explain that these are both cliches that stem from people who have particular behavioural patterns in terms of the sort of people they pursue. I say rather than slander a whole gender with these sweeping statements why don't you look at yo
First of all I'd like to say I appreciate the fact you are actually trying argue the case instead of saying "your a poo poo head" as is often the case on forums. Maybe I watch too many sitcoms, but doesn't that sometimes happen to heterosexuals having sex with heterosexual partners? True b
Gee its weird that a woman might get emotionally attached to a baby she's carrying - there only a few million years of evolution behind the emotion. Giving up a baby for adoption isn't easy either. Last I heard Bush was anti-abortion too so if he did have it his way she couldn't abort. I get emotionally attached to things. Does that make it any less my fault if
So, it might be as natural as being a jerk, which means that we should not dislike jerks for being jerks, for that is a hate crime. That wasn't the point I was making at all. I'm just saying that that it is neither nature or nuture but both. You seem to be soley in the nuture camp I 'm just saying you'r
Gee its weird that a woman might get emotionally attached to a baby she's carrying - there only a few million years of evolution behind the emotion. Giving up a baby for adoption isn't easy either. Last I heard Bush was anti-abortion too so if he did have it his way she couldn't abort. Emotions often get in the way of the obvious simple solutions. Gee, we could reduce the unemployment rate to zero if we just killed all the unemployed people.<
2. Homosexuality is genetic as proven by a few pairs of identical twins in which both of the twins were gay. WRONG! Identical twins are genetically identical. That means they are practically clones of each other. If homosexuality was as genetic as the color of one's eyes, then all homosexuals with an identical twin would have a g

Reply By: TheFazzPosted: Wednesday, February 09, 2005I see. So this is how the multiverse workds. Thanks for clearing that mess up, and putting an even bigger one in its place! Can 0=1 explain my pedantry? I'm thinking about starting a new series. I shall call it "Understanding Understanding the Univer
Interesting article. I get what you are saying, really I do. However, there's this thing called attraction and for some reason, I'm attracted to the arseholes--I think it's the chase aspect. Nice guys are too easy--there's no adventure. It all gets dull very fast. I'm probably missing the point here ent
'tis a work of art.... my sincerest apologies to Salvador Dali. Just to make this post a little less pointless here a link for a spoof of the Star Wars: Episode 3 trailer. Even if you don't like Stars Wars you'll probably find this funny. <a href="http://content.ugoto.com/link.php?i
What a bizzarre coincidence. Thanks for the compliment Muggaz.
Well in this case 0 is shorthand for nothing not 0 in the mathematical sense. In the same way 1 stands for "something" and infinity stands for everything ( I originally had the infinity symbol but it didn't display properly.)
It is has been a while since I have added to this series of articles. For this I apologise, I am aware that your entire life consists of you constantly reloading this blog in the hope that I have written a new entry to this series. This may be hard to believe but it is actually quite hard to write articles about understanding the universe. Not because it is
He was hanged in the night. The judge forefilled his oath by lying about doing it at sunrise. He said you will not know the MOMENT of your death not DAY.
Yeah, I agree with you there Maso. I think there are few articles you could get out of some the issues I've raised, I had to restrain myself from making it novel length. Muggaz wrote an entire article on the nice guys thing the other day. Thanks for the compliments. Cheers mate, Tobler
