I rate 1 & 2 minor with a preference for seeing the ship damage. I like 3 & 4. With my alpha experience (I'm struggling to get the B1 code.. >:( ) I'd like to point the attention of my space friends to the proliferation of colony ships at the beginning of the game. Some races do build colonies and load them with very few colonists and spread out to colonize all planets making the game something like GrandPrix 3 LOL . No alternative strategy is effective. Pat, where do I edit them? Delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin Network and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net ...? I'm not really smart with the "I take care of all" w2000 interface... Gherardo

It's a few days that I try to get B1 but have dgm problems... Now after reinstalling and clearing temp dirs I get error 9 "subscript out of range". The only thing I left is that I reinstall (0.65) on the previous dir with downloaded programs. Can anyone help? previously the readme.tx_ couldn't be found on www site... and dgm was still at 0.65.64 Gherardo

Rich, as Brad said.. "Of course, anyone who's making posts and providing feedback is someone we want to get early builds." So I suppose that e-mail feedbacks is enough. Not everybody has an OPEN internet connection handy... ;) Gherardo

Bjo/rn (please collapse 3rd and fourth chars), yes the moral penalty was because you had a sudden increase in population... Cari, I mean the nice list that is on the bottom right. I'd like to have a popup window where the game stop until I get out of it after having taken care of all of them. Make me go through the items and at the end push a button to close it. I argue I was confused in explaning. :(

1) Again, initial setup screen does not provide a clear link between what you are doing and what is the selected race (please see my previous post on that) 2) Tech description text scrolling is terrible. I'd like to keep clicked and scroll the text. Now I have to click and click and click... :( 3) The text in the main screen describing the type of ship is occasionally partially deleted on the first part (Ex: Transport --> sport) 4) Again, mass changes are very cumb

1) Drengin agreed to gimmie one system but it was not changed to my colors. Then I tried clicking on that anyway and I could fully work on it. The same for all the other Drengin worlds... 2) I had my Flag Ship standing in between a drengin colonizer and a free beloved planet. The colonizer simply came into my space (no fight) and I couldn't attack it given my movement factor :sniff!:

Adding... 8) Gimmie a minimap when a research (military or social) is completed so I can quickly understand if it's better to build a colonizer or a defender. Also would be nice to know what the other planets in that system are building (military)... 9) Did we loose the option to orbit into a specific planet? Is there still a repair function when you go back to building/home planet?

1) we have 2 square brackets: selected planet and ship. please change color, delete one, ... I need just one focus not 2. 2) autopilot circles: add the name/type of the ship 3) economics are strange. I spend 100% and still have positive cash... 4) scrolling the planet list to find something is unusable. Try to focus on a planet as you get 10s ... Then there is no place with a list of what each planet is making (Brad do you remember the planet list of GC2?) 5) Governors must be ab

In the setup screen it's not really clear that you must check all races to give alignement and intelligence. I would suggest this is because in the same screen you have game-wide sliders. This is not great for usability. One idea could be to have some graphic that zoom out the selected race and includes the sliders for that race only as you click.

Personally I dislike that there are forbidden tiles for some ships. Anomalies should be available also to regular ships but without effects (find nothing, ...). If autopilot is set to an unexplored quadrant then let me go. There is no reason not to go south if you have never been there. Also autopilot should disengage if the setting is not appropriate and warn me.
