As for your title, (and I know this is a bit of a stretch) you could say that the AI IS only human, since it is being programmed by a human (or two, led by Brad Wardell).

You might wish to report this directly to Stardock via a ticket (many of us have reported lock ups and hangs on this level already). One other thing to be aware of is how much RAM you have on your system. On my PC, with 16GB RAM, I have seen the OS assign as much as 6GB RAM to back up the virtual memory being used by everything I have running on it, including the game with a huge galaxy, all start up options set to values I expect to use maximum memory, and all 4 opponents, and this i
It is optimized and coded for 64 bit. Not sure how it will function on a 32 bit. Likely it will not even start up.
This has been confirmed by at least one potential user. Not only did it not even start up, but there was no message about why it wouldn't start.

I will agree with all of you that edge scrolling is a useful feature, but please don't take away the "grab and pull" feature. I find it very useful.

The mouse scrolling in GC has always been more of a "grab and pull" kind of thing (click and hold the left mouse button then pull the map in the direction you want to move it), instead of the edge scrolling many other games employ. Personally I have generally found (I most often use windowed mode) that edge scrolling is more difficult to use. Another way to reposition the main map is to click on the mini-map where you want the main map centered.

Now, on the third time to start the game, it sat there with the "loading" screen for over 60 seconds. I clicked the mouse in the window and got the "not responding" message added to the window title, then after about 10 seconds, I got the "beta" sub-window and it went to the opening menu screen as soon as I clicked on the "not fun" acknowledgement button.

I also had this problem, but thanks to the rest of you I was watching for it. After jerking it out from under itself I restarted it and got to the intro clip in about 30 seconds (I7-4770). During that first ultra long load I noticed that the game was scheduled many tasks that were being run, just like normal. It is as if there is something being done on the first start up that is not being recognized as completed.
and that was really shity apology for whatever it is you did Sashgala, I actually thought this was genuine. Instead its about leaving a BS present on SD door and putting a bow on it, this is just about the last word for you even if you don't know it. The points you have for each tier is displayed on the left side of the screen. You can only unlock what you have enough points to unlock. The other tiers will become unlockable when you get enough points for it. This caught me by surprise the first time I ran into it.

I hope this gives an idea of what is meant by a recommendation of XXBG. As a general rule, when I bring up my PC and before I start any non-automated task (I have Win8.1, Start8, and a sidebar app in which I run three temperature and usage monitors) Windows will consistently allocate just over 2GB of RAM by the time it settles down. The amount allocated seems to vary a little (+/- about 10% to 20%) from boot to boot, but it is always more than 2GB on my PC. Out of a specified requirement of 4
I used to play SWTOR, and occasionally login to see what's going on. I just saw briefly the new expansion, but I need to read more about it.
[sarcasm on level 10] What are you doing spending time on other games? Aren't you supposed to be working 24/7 on GC3? [/sarcasm] Yes, I, too, am waiting around for Beta 2. It would be nice to hear teasers about when (tentatively) it wi

Some other people with integrated HD 4000 Intel graphics chips (your i7-3630QM is one) combined with a discrete graphics card have experienced problems with performance problems, including frame rate. StarDock has mentioned that they were working with Intel to solve the problem. I think your best course of action at this point would be to open a ticket with StarDock as described in the " GalCiv III Support FAQ " thread.
