The Nvidia utility says my Driver version is 311.41. It checks for updates daily and I manually told it to check for an update after this problem and it claims its the latest driver although when I got to Nvidia's site it lists the latest driver as... 340.52. I'm going to manually download and update the driver rather than trusting the card to do it on its own and see if that has any effect.
</p

MVM, many people have had difficulties with performance on laptops with both the integrated Intel HD 4x00 graphics and an additional graphic card, You may wish to follow the discussions on one of the other threads to see some of the partial successes that have been achieved, One in particular is this one.
I don't think a list of all habitable planets would be helpful in an immense game
I really must protest, Parrottmath. In GC2 on immense galaxies, having the ability do sort a list of all of the habitable unowned planets I had discovered by class really helped me choose which planet I wanted to send a newly created colony ship, I found it immensely helpful, and I am eagerly awaiting the optional sort options they w

As for me, I put general feedback and CTDs in "Early Access", support problems in "support", and other stuff in the general sub-forum. But I think most people just put it where-ever it feels right to them.

You may find some help in the Support FAQ . Having information about your system may help the others of us to make some guesses as to what may be causing your problem. Follow the instructions on running DxDiag and save the data to a file. Then drop the data into a place like "DropBox" or some other similar place and post a link to it here,

It would be good to know what driver level you are using for your graphics card, as NVidia is currently having troubles with their latest driver (340,52). 1600X900 should not be a problem. I am running the game windowed at that resolution without any noticeable graphics problems with a GeForce GT 640 with the driver at level 337.88, however, I had troubles during the Alpha when I upgraded to the latest driver.

Go to store.stardock.com , log in, and look along the top right of the screen for "my downloads" and click it. This will list all of the programs you have purchased from StarDock with their product key. Take that product key and use it to add GC3 to your list of Steam games ("add a game" at the bottom right of your "library").

I think I saw them doing this in one of the Dev Streams, but I can't seem to do it. Is this something that is scheduled for a later level? I would like to design ship templates that will automatically be upgraded as new techs are researched. If I specify a base level component, such as a hyper drive engine, and complete the tech for the hyperdrive plus engine, the game will make my design available with the new engine. Then if I complete the tech for an Ion engine,

The way the ship paths appear and don't appear on the main map is creating real difficulties with planning what to do with where to send a selected ship. Currently, there is no discernible rhyme or reason for why some paths show and others do not. I would suggest a toggle control accessible directly on the main map that lets us turn these path indicators on or off. This way if I want to know if a colony ship is already assigned to colonize a planet I can toggle ship paths on and t
Quoting Lucky Jack, reply 22 No. And it had more of an Italian Language flavor. Didn't you want to call it Fine di Arcobaleno, or something similar? I couldn't find that in the list of approved names, so I'm probably wrong.

I have been getting crashes under many different circumstances with medium and large galaxies, but not this one. However, the Devs told me that they have solved "the problem" (which makes it sound like it all traces back to a single code error) and it will be fixed in the "next patch" (which, with the announcements made today, makes me think it will be in the delivery that is expected out late next week or the week after).
