I have seen this for some time now, well before level 0.30. I submitted a ticket at the time, but feel free to submit your own. Maybe your info will be the stuff that helps them solve the problem.
Its been discussed before and due to the astronomical distances of tile's it would be completely unfeasible to implement even with suspension of belief the costs to mine a single tile of space would be more then your civilization could earn in a single game
Yes, this has been discussed before, and you failed to mention how contentious the discussion was. Every argument in favor received an argument o
You could report it to the support site : https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/Default/Tickets/Submit/Index
And the devs are pretty good at picking up problems from here.
Quoting Lucky Jack, reply 2The next question is to moltobenny: Are you running with the most current (non beta) GPU driver? (I had some problems with the latest GeForce beta level GPU driver and had to back it off.) Yessir. GeForce 337.88 (released 5/26/14), new GTX660 card. I'd be amazed if it was really a GPU issue, since it's an ocean world on the planet/production map too, not just
Having all the same issues. Would love for it to at least go to the battle so that I can see what's happening until they get part of the final code going.
Yes, but I think we will have to be patient about this.

Actually, what I remember about GC2 is that the survey ships always seemed to know exactly where anomalies were in unexplored space, which does not match what we were told to expect about the game in general. I have seen survey ships in GC3 change pilot paths if another ship exposes an anomaly closer than the survey ship's target destination while in "survey" mode.

I am also seeing this problem which I have assumed is a result of the placeholder code being in the game instead of the full fledged battle code they are working on. There have been many threads that have touched on what options it will provide or what ones we would like to see, including an attempt at evasion or even an auto retreat at some damage level or ratio. So far, the responses have all been "wait and see".

I find this very curious, since it looks like only some of us are seeing this. Since I am not seeing this, I have to wonder if it is somehow tied to what hardware we are using and the way GC3 uses it. While I am aware that there is a lot of work to be done with the graphics in GC3, perhaps there is something they missed in some of the quirks there are in using the many variations of hardware we have. Or, perhaps there is something to the warning to have the latest GPU driver installed

The same thing happened during the Alpha/Beta of GC2. Before the completion of the Beta they added code to ensure a better dispersal of empire starting points. What we have now is a totally random placement of civilization starting points. I would expect the added code needed to make the starting points more separated to be added during the Beta.

I don't see any reason for a passenger or commercial transport to disappear after delivering its load. Colony ships get stripped to help build the colony and military transports can be destroyed during an invasion (perhaps this should be a toss of the dice thing), but passenger ships have no purpose beyond moving people from place to place. And think of how the cartels would complain about the expense of replacing those ships after only one trip each.

This is the first time I have noticed that a ship's projected flight path has numbers of turns in it, which is great. But if I change the view to directly above the map the numbers suddenly change from displayed right side up to upside down. This picture is with the view just slightly off directly above. <a href="https://www.dropbox.com/s/0oniy4zmu1h2f44/flight%20path%20numbers%202.psd

I have heard that SteamWorks doesn't work for 64 bit games, which is in contradiction with what I see at the bottom of the debug.err file after a crash. Also the post GalCiv III support FAQ says to submit crashes and other bugs and crashes directly to StarDock and includes instructions on how to do so. The devs also watch these forums.

I have been waiting for him to reply so I could see whether or not the founder's badge appears on his reply, but so far, no reply from him. Which just increases my suspicions.
If hexes were soooo good why don't we switch our coordinate system around the world to be hex based? It is completely plausible.
The coordinate system we use for our world is neither squares or hexes, and is not comparable to either. Squares and hexes are flat (2 dimensional) and will not work on a sphere.

The restriction of speed is how well the ship can withstand the increase of particle abrasion it suffers. How good are the particle shields and how effective are they at
