thomassen, that is a logical assessment and it would definately improve the site's 'themeability' and page rendering time in the future, once the database issues are resolved. Boss019, Frogboy clearly explained the issue. I realize you expected such an explaination and apparently you are unwilling to accept it, but it doesn't change the facts. You offer no solutions, only the same complaints over and over. It's beginning to sound like you are simply looking for someone to argue with.<

Check this first: https://www.stardock.com/products/pocketblinds/ Note the part that says " * [January 2005] Windows Mobile 2003 devices are not currently supported by PocketBlinds. We've recently begun working with another developer on updating PocketBlinds for newer devices, which he should then be offering in the coming months. He's also the gentleman who's taken over the WisBar development, so

In English it's "Start". There are a number of DesktopX themes that include a Start menu plugin. Once you have one of those themes on your computer, you can use the plugin in your own themes. Here is one example: http://mikeb314.wincustomize.com/viewskin.aspx?SID=46&skinid=3267&libid=31&UID=18095

You have to link to WC pages through your personal site in order to get advocate credit. That's the only way it can be attributed to you. For example, if I wanted to link to a particular skin and be credited as an advocate, the link would look like this: http://mikeb314.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?LibID=1&SkinID=5179 Notice the address is at mikeb314.wincustomize.com rather than

try using SDC, or WC Browser on dialup........ what you get is ultra slooooooow. Hehe, I don't use either for browsing or downloading. I just knew you could.

You really shouldn't download anything without reading the description first, and you might want to leave a comment or rate it as well. You can't do any of those things on the browse pages. Think about the new people who come here and ask a dozen questions when half of them would have been answered if they just read descriptions. Those of us who subscribe have SDC or the WC Browser for ultra

I am curious to know what went so horribly wrong with the titlebar button conversion. I tried it myself and the image states are clearly uneven. I've never looked at an msstyle in stylebuilder, so I'm not sure how the buttons would have been created to cause such havoc when converted.

WinStyles was renamed Theme Manager quite a while ago and is currently on version 2.2. Maybe it's time to upgrade.

If you hold down alt and press tab repeatedly, you can cycle through all of your windows. Just don't let go of the Alt key until you've landed on the one you want to restore. Also, if you go too far, you can press Shift+Tab (while still holding Alt) to move in reverse.

Last time I used the shareware version it did everything that the pro version did... It didn't skin toolbar icons or progress animations. I'm pretty sure there are a few other things as well.

You should work on your preview images. Showing a single cursor doesn't really represent the set very well. At the very least, a screenshot of your CursorXP window would show the first few of them.

Aha, well in that particular case, the .logonxp file is inside the .zip. Just unzip it, and double click the .logonxp file.

In addition to the comments above, I would suggest you learn how to use TGA files for your transparent buttons as opposed to BMPs. That way you won't have to see those jagged edges on all of your button corners. Also, is it safe to assume you are only using Brewman's toolbar icons temporarily until you make your own?
