Thank you for making this project possible, Russ. It is amazing how much WindowBlinds has evolved over a few short years. So much to do, no time to talk ...

Aha, well, now the next person who replies won't make the same mistakes I did. I have a theory on Dmn-Tweak-R2. It is possible that it does include toolbar icons, only they are the default XP icons. If you open the skin in SkinStudio, navigate to the Toolbar Icons section, and delete them from
Dmn-Tweak-R2 does not include toolbar icons, which is why you don't see them. As for G-Pod, there is a checkbox in the My Toolbars section of your WindowBlinds settings labeled "Use the WindowBlinds coloring settings on these icons". You need to check that for custom coloring to be applied to them.
Hi Kyle, is that what your email meant? I got a blank message with no attachments and a subject line that read "A Tronnix login!!". I thought you were just demanding one or something.
I suspect you would have better luck if you allowed people to submit and update their own skins. Authors like to maintain control over their work.
You need LogonStudio. https://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/

why are you using irc commands? It used to work on the old site.
Actually, it's a shareware version. The idea is that you can try it out and see if you like it before you buy it. You miss out on some of the best features of WindowBlinds skins with the shareware version. It's well worth the $20, although the whole Object Desktop suite for $50 is an even better deal.
I'm curious what people are downloading 100 megabytes of if they haven't purchased any software to use it with. 50 wallpapers and 50 logons?
I'm not sure about the WC browser itself, but Stardock Central tells you when your accounts expire. Just go to Settings and click on WinCustomize, and you should see the expiration date.
Or you could put a mike near your HD and hook it up to the computer and watch the equalizer. I'm kind of busy, but you could try a "mic" instead.
Wish I could be there! Me too. Maybe they'll hold one in Boston some time. I could go to that.
I think you have to live with it, or add those programs to WindowFX's list of applications to ignore. The problem stems from those programs not really removing the "hidden" parts and simply making them invisible. WindowFX doesn't know they're invisible and adds a shadow to them.
The classic start menu warning always pops up. It looks like you're using the XP start menu anyway, and your icons obviously changed, so don't worry about that. I think the problem is that you're not using 32bit color, which is required for smooth alpha-blended edges. Open your display properties, go to the settings tab, and make sure 32bit color is selected there.
You can't ... yet. Hopefully we'll see support for animations added soon. I have added mine manually after creating the rest of the skin with SkinStudio and exporting it to Windows Media Player.
The old skins are right under the newer ones. You can just browse the WB and IP galleries and jump ahead several pages at a time until you get back far enough. They're all displayed in chronological order. Also, once you're browsing a library, you can click on the box in the search area at the top of the page that says "DESC" and switch to to "ASC", then click Go. That will allow you to browse the library starting with the oldest skins first.

Wow, I forgot all about that. It's called Grayce and I made it about a million years ago. You can find it here: http://mikeb314.wincustomize.com/viewskin.aspx?skinid=2429&libid=1&comments=1&SID=46&UID=18095
You need to have the program DesktopX installed to use DesktopX themes. https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/
Right-click the file and go to Properties... On the General tab, you should see "Opens with" followed by the name of the default program, and a button to change it. Just click the Change button and choose the appropriate application as the default program.
Fun to read, the script is. Answers many questions, it does.
I thought Palpatine's master told him a story about a Sith who could create life... Either way, that's an intriguing idea given that Anakin was reportedly conceived without a father.
As a skinner, I'm obviously partial to WindowBlinds, but we always have WindowBlinds contests. DesktopX 3 is really cool, and lots of people are making things for it these days. I think a contest might raise the bar a little.
