I honestly have no clue, but I think some users have? Sorry for the very late response!

Let's see what we can find out. In File Explorer go to: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\sins2 (replace username with whatever yours is). First thing - does this directory exist? If so, look in the logs directory and see if there's anything in there. If so, please post it somewhere we can see it. :) If the sins2 directory doesn't exist at all, then that at least gives us a clue as to where it's dying for you.

Wanted to do something very cool as a teaser and we had the titan ready, so, why not? :)

Long post! Let me respond in order: AI: This is largely just placeholder right now. It's doing enough to challenge but that's it. Once we've got all the races and gameplay systems in, the AI will be getting lots of love. Ships/Notifications: More notifications on ship health are planned to match Sins 1 levels. Trade ships should not be setting off invasion warnings, however. Is that what you saw? We've already changed it so that scouts won't warn you

Right now we're only focused on supporting the Epic version.
Most of the audio refinements haven't been addressed yet. They'll be coming. :)

We hope to ask Intel if it's possible to fix it in their driver.
Epic's launcher will often start updating games before you even get the store page to display, so they're easy to miss.

Titan audio hasn't been implemented yet. What's there now is placeholder.

Thanks! We've got this fixed for the next update. :)
Sad but probably true. And because of how Steam's review system works, 1 bad review = 4 positive ones. That why developers hate it so much.
Well, I think most of your information is out of date now. Hopefully when you finally get to play yourself, you'll be pleasantly surprised. :)
Have you had a chance to play the Sins II tech preview yet?
