Yarlen
Just tried both of these and they're working as expected on the latest build (Test version for Tech Preview 4). Are you on Tech Preview 3?

That should be fixed in the next update. We hope to release that to the Test Edition build in the near future. 这应该在下一次更新中得到修复。我们希望在不久的将来将其发布到测试版构建中。
You'll be able to adjust game speed in MP with the next update. :)
There won't be a campaign for the initial release (at least). One of the things we like is that everyone's story plays out a bit differently based on what happens in their own game. We don't want to infringe on that, but we do want to get more lore elements out there.
Capital ships (except where we've already noted) will be returning; you'll see some new frigate/cruiser class units though. :)
Are you planning any new ships? Or just a remake of all the old ones?
There will be new ships for other races showing up...
Cool! from an engine standpoint, do guns fire through their own ships? Because strike crafts could just rain fire from above and be safe from retaliation! It's that the the point, then ok! That's fine by me. Battlestar Galactica Deadlock used similar ideas and it was fun to attack ships in their deadzones.
Yes and no. A ship's gun can shoot through the unit's mesh - though we set things up to avoid t

Thanks for the info! This is fixed internally for the next update.
I've thought about this and it would be best served by a spinoff like Sins of a Solar Empire: Tactics or something. More realistic scales, but much smaller in play area. Definitely not something for the near term.
Thanks for the feedback! Right now neither balance or AI is a primary focus, so you should expect both to remain... iffy until we're closer to release.
We're currently a bit too early to say for certain, but right none of the major languages are off the table (i.e., French, German, Russian, Simplified Chinese).
Wow! I think if you Update Serial it will take you to a patch but if not, please contact support - https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1345814529/Sins+of+a+Solar+Empire+Series
Welcome to the party! :D
We've just deployed a hotfix for the Tech Preview 3 Test build. Changes are listed at the very bottom of the OP.
You can rally point ships from specific factories or planets to any location or other unit. Just select the planet/factory and right-click on the rally location.
We won't be officially supporting Linux, so I've no idea. I guess time will tell? Since we're 64-bit, there's no longer the 2GB RAM limitation; we've no idea if 3D v-cache will help or not. :P
Animations are out of scope for our project. Perhaps in the future it's something we can look at.
The game is only available via Epic Game Store for now.
Dunov is up next - early Feb. is my target.
