Per my post in the other thread, please check if you are using TweakUI and have set OS menu delay to 0. That can conflict with WindowFX menu animations in the All Programs submenus.

The 100K download is telling the game to enable the CE content you already have. It's not adding or removing files. I believe it's all additional ship parts. The latest update adds a bunch more stuff that is not part of the original CE content, but with the update, all the new bits are available for everyone. Link

It'll look something like the below. Email that to [email protected]. If you've entered the right information (esp if you've already used it in the past), it'll send you an email back within a couple of minutes. If you haven't, it'll need the support guys to look at it. As this is a holiday weekend, I'm liable to be around more then them. cc the email to [email protected] as well. m=1&v=1&a1=8E24B6CAA2B4990C5A76871C37AB15B587D4BE3535DB6884F59A54F279D4

Remove the sig.bin from the directory on the other machine and reactivate it. If you are using Stardock Central, you can right-click on the component and select the Activate w/logging option. If not, it'll prompt for activation. Enter the email address and serial you've previously used with it. The activation is liberal, within reason. A sig.bin from one OS install will not work on another. But, you can install and activate on a reasonable number of machines during a given period bef

Is there anything in the new target directory? Do have have the secondary directory backup features on? The default directory, per the docs, is documents and settings\%username%\local settings\application data\stardock\KeepSafeArchive Kris

I've tried the latest Activewords on a desktop and tablet with MP 1.02 and the latest internal build. I'm not having any trouble with the hotkey feature (F8) to invoke one of the defined/user added actions, so I'm not sure what to advise here. Apart from checking for anything else that might be interacting with the keyboard on the tablet. They fixed up the incompatibility just about a year ago.

Without having pressed the buttons myself, the first 3 screenshots are Vista's ability to alter the color shading of the blur/glass effect. The last two are WindowBlinds on Vista, which hasn't been mentioned really before Brad's post. Kris

It was a fun watch and I'm glad we went to see it yesterday. Is it great american cinema? No. One-dimensional supporting characters. And while a lot of the lead-up was relatively well-done, the third act forced its way through. Better than MI2. And w/o some of the MI1 baggage that rode herd on that. At the end of the day, it was a 2 hour episode of Alias w/o commercials + Tom Cruise and some other stars. It'll do until X-Men 3 and Superman come out. <img src="../images/smiles/smi

"In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade..." Oh, wait. That's too early in the timeline.

Will Vista "upgrade" XP? More specifically, I bought XP64 and had to do a brand new install. Will we have to do that w/Vista? Also, Will Vista run in 64bit if a chip is found to be 64bit? Yes, Windows Vista will let you upgrade from 32-bit XP to 32-bit Vista. I don't know about x64 XP to x64 Vista (and there will be a 64-bit version).

Press Ctrl-V to paste it in. Yes, that needs to be made more clear. If you have reinstalled the OS, you will need to reactivate (Malkuth). In your case, it'll generate a code you can email us and we'll send back the sig.bin file. So long as you don't reinstall Windows, you're set.

The latest German files from mid-last week are integrated into this build. There maybe some small data differences or additional #-defined extra text strings that are not present, but those can be added in the future. If Language = German at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\GalCiv2, then the updated German files will install. If that has been changed to English via a previous update installer or beta, you'll need to use RegEdit.exe to flip it back. Or reinstall from t
