As soon as I know for certain, you'll know. Give or take the couple of minutes it takes me to get back to the website.

There are contractual considerations, not technical ones.
There are terms to our contracts that we have to abide by. When the CD orders are charged, you'll be able to download the game via Stardock Central before you even get the retail CD in the mail. As you'll get your serial number electronically first. And https://www.stardock.com/support will be able to resend that serial to you in the future. In terms of electronic orders, that you can download right this minute, that's wit
I can't speak for individual stores having it in stock, but it's most definitely on TotalGaming.net. I'm still updating webpages, so there might be some items I've missed.
I don't understand. What's not "fairly" working about the current 4.38 beta builds? 4.4 will be released later in August.
Given what's been added to SP2, the odds are that NeverTrust will not be released.
Sept1mus , what's the trouble you're having with WB? Are you on an AMD64 platform?
I don't know that we'll be able to do anything about the DVD movies in fullscreen. As for the games, what are some specific games that its having trouble with? Do you have it set to always on top?
I'm aware of only 3 potential issues with SP2, now that its gone RTM and we've spent the day with it. 1. Sometimes BootSkin fails to load on the first reboot after installing the SP. Reboot again and it should be fine. These next two, as far as I've been able to reproduce, are specific to AMD64 based platforms. 2. WindowBlinds on AMD64's (builds prior to the WB 4.38 ones on SDC now). The new NX memory features enabled by SP2 are a bit too sensitive. It'll preve
We spent a lot of time combing through the code for build 60 last week in terms of uninstalling, because we had another report the week before about an issue like you've described. We've also added code in there to make sure that if something were to go wonky with a buffer or the like, it can't remove files outside of the app directory.
The resources in the binary weren't updated. 466 is the RC1 build.
Is it com_drawftp 1 for the fps counter?
4.38d is now up which should have Outlook 2k3 all happy happy again.
It's available via SDC now (Thursday). If Yahoo is blocking emails from Stardock, add them to your whitelist. Or find some way to email [email protected] with details on what's going on so I can try and get it resolved. We've got reverse pointers, SPF, and who knows what other stuff going on the mailserver to show that we are who we say we are.
The defaults are to install to the C drive. Unless you've overridden them globally for the network (Tools / Register Products / Games) or have them prompting for each component install. We did refresh the default install location to be Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming.net last week, so I'm guessing that overrode any changes you had made. And the new games went onto C.
Hello. Could you zip up .\sdcentral\installed and email that to [email protected] please?
You're unable to read the serial number in the registry, that's why its unhappy at the moment. And I would take a little issue with the "crippled versions" comment. We ively remove features and make sure you know its not a full version with the splash screens. But, we're not turning it off after an hour of use or having WindowBlinds paint hash marks over all your controls. Just because your car doesn't have a CD player doesn't make it crippled for driving to and fro. B
And by happy "now", I mean with the 0.99.008 on SDC Tuesday night.
Peter, see below. Intro movie in windowed mode should be happy now. June 7th 2004 ------------------ Fix for movie playing in windowed mode. Additional internal fixes. Credits screen still unhappy. If you are having crashing problems with this build, is it when the intro movie tries to play or does it skip the intro movie entirely? If you are having crashing issues on startup of any sort, plea
Talk gravy soon so people get it. Then go over Chicago-style Italian beef.
Slightly tweaked build to improve logging of serial number issues to debug.err. Please send that file to [email protected] if you are getting a message about serial numbers on startup. This build also adds some additional detection and logging routines to try and track down some of the reported issues with some nvidia card models. If you have trouble loading the game or displaying the main map, please email us that
If anyone else is having that issue with campaign mode reported above, download http://mi.stardock.com/private/CampaignLadder.Ladder and place that in the .\polmachine\data subdir. That should take care of it for today.

Whoever is having serial trouble still, please fire up regedit.exe and browse down to HKLM\Software\Stardock. Right-click on the folder/keys at left and select Export. Save a .reg file with all the subkeys off that branch. Please put that .reg in a zip file and email it to [email protected]. Is anybody having problems who does _not_ have Drengin? Just the regular PM serials from preorders?
I'm not keen on diving into this 130 messages in, but as someone who voted for EMP2 for first place in Most Usable, I'm pleased to have voted for it. I felt EMP2 brought everything together with a cohesive presentation, a consistent sense of style, clear access to sub-features (though the use of the "menu" items in the main UI and RMB menu), and consistent usability/accessibility/readability under different color schemes. It very much gave me a sense of being at home with using it (even
