I agree with Martinl's point of having an extra tech in between habitat impr. and terraforming. I think it would be nice to improve worlds in the middlegame as well. TT

...wish I had read the encylopedia before posting ;).... Thanks a lot, TT
ahh, oki thanks a lot Lucky, I didn't realize that I'm limited in manufacturing and research other than spending money. What you say makes perfectly sense when the restriction is not only the money/resources you divert from your income, but also comes from the capability to produce/research, i.e. spend the money. Oki got it. Thanks a lot. Cheers, TT
It's really a neat report, I like it very much. But it might be good to include only the known races into the list and not all of them. Cheers, TT
It seems to be the same bug as previously described in "Ships Occupying Same Space Bug!" Also the workaround with manually moving the ship works. Cheers, TT
I just lost a game oddly, it seemed to me that I controlled the galaxy, planets of other races regulary rebelled against their dictators and joined my empire, my population, tech, manufacturing, military strength was by far the most advanced in the galaxy, at least according to the graphs. Acutally there was nothing much left over from the former enemies. Then suddenly the end screen popped up telling me that I was wiped out and defeated ? Do the AI's cheat in this way when they see that the
Now autoroute is not moving ships at all. Additionally I can select them but get no info about their stats. The little screen is just showing a guy smiling at me (perhaps), but there is no (info) button or HP/AT/DE shown. I can select a planet/science/foreign realtions etc. and do things, hmm, well not quite true after a turn (manually forced via button) does not lead to the usual pop up's, just nothing happens. I guess when I restart the game everything is alright, but it's annoying to save
Well, but if you max out the spending you should end up haveing nothing left over, right ? Independend of tax rate. At least it would be nice to be able to spend as much as you get, so you can divert all your income using your distribution scheme.
My vote goes for the galaxy map during planet screen is up, as well.
I can't spend all the money I get, how can I fix that ? My tax rate is 77%, rev. 907 Trade income 168, totals 1075 (!) But my max spending rate is at 100% 893, the slider is ALL the way to the right. It would be great if 100% spending euqals to the total income. Hmm... ok perhaps I just misunderstand the concept, please help. Thanks a lot, TT
Actually it seems that this applies sometimes to enemy ships as well.
It would be great to get a summary of all benifits after the research is completed, there is already a lot of info then about the tech itself, which is nice, but more info'r about the 'hard facts' i.e. def +10 or 'freighter' etc. would be great. Cheers, TT
My ship flies over them, like if the monster is one of my ships. It just stacks. Also there is no 2, indicating a true stack and I cannot do anything with the monster of course ;).
It would be great if the space monsters could be attacked by ships. Cheers, TT
It would be nice to see in the trade route map which trade route is selected from the trade route list, by changing it's line color. So you can more easily determine which trade route you want to keep, or dismantle for security reasons. Cheers, TT
It would be nice to have an option for the minimap, to mark starbases as well. They are sometimes hard to find. Same is true for unused resources. SO perhaps it would be better to have an option to highlite resources, colored by their owner rather than by their type. Cheers, TT
In the game right now the Drenigin empire is not very aggressive against me, even though it had it's chances... I think the evil biased AI should be a little more aggressive.
I like those ideas above, so that each descicion shifts your alignment and within a certain range a random event is chosen based dependingly on your alignment. What if the rate in which those random events occur is based on the alignment itself. i.e. an very evil empire gets more quite frequently evil events, than a less evil empire. As culture and society gets more and more extreme. Cheers, TT
sounds good to me, perhaps a player bonus can be implemented. i.e. your favorite party gets twice as much, well it's a bit unrealistic but it gives your empire more your flavor. Cheers, TT
If the people vote a new senate, why not then taking the votes to redistribute the pro's and cons instead of just apllying a penalty if your party lost ? i.e. if a new Senate is elected, then determin the pro's and cons in dependence of number of seats. Cheers, TT
Acks, I must be really dumb, but I can't figure out how I can submit my games/points to the Metaverse. Do I have to be constantly online while playing ? It might be good to have a "post gamestats" option somewhere. It might be there already but I can't find it. Cheers, TT
just from a previous game, also there were 5 slots instead of one or two cheers, TT
I restarted a game and the list of trade routes contained still the old ones. Cheers, TT
I restarted several times the game, well after realizing that the starting conditions are not good ;). First thing that happend is that the progress bar of univ. creation didn't show up anymore, after some more restarts and playing, the research screen did not close anymore after initial choice. Cheers, TT
It seems that the vote numbers on the UP screen are limited to 4 digits. In the gigantic galaxy it can easily happen that vote exceed 9999.
