yeah id go for an upgrade specially since lots of next gen computer games are coming out that are going to be system hogs oblivion, spore, rise of legends, exc
Civ3Fanatic
some good ideas there especially like the idea of nameing the alliances could have my own WWII in space...
well the main reason that i can think of is that if they electronic distribution before retail so many ppl would just get the electronic distribution that noone would buy it in retail which would make for bad publicity and make the companies that agreed to sell it in there stores kinda mad that the stuff there trying to sell isnt selling because most of the ppl have already bought it online also if you could get it download before you get it before retail there will be tons more ppl
stinks that there cant be any change now though with realease so close...
id have to say the same thing plus i would get really mad when the other person took his or her sweet time in getting there turn done
unless u have a bomb that blacts through the roof of the cave and then explodes then ur screwed
those bugs are going to be fixed in the gamma realeases which we dont get to c plus the whole last mountt of the games developement is going to be polishing everything up and hunting down every single last bug they can find before it goes on release
whichc makes sense cause now they can concentrate on the final version of the game instead of worrying bout gettin a demo together
yeah in RTW i had 300 long shield cavalry they defeated almost 3000 well equped roman soliders that had numerous advatages in 3 separate battles (round 1000 roman deaths per battle) before they were finally killed
well you could do it like planatary invasions and i guess that would be sorta fun and add some sort of tactical deph to it but like phoxnix siad i dont think it would add enough fun to be implemented
and hopefully it will be good surprises but witht the ppl working on this game i think that we can be pretty confindent that any surprises that come will be good ones
the only thing that i hate bout ships that can capture toher ships is that A its either too easy to commander other ships making the game result in massing a ton of them and there goes your fleet right into enemy hands or B there too weak so that building them is virtually usless unless you want some laser fodder
that was a great new year eve only promblem is i lost my money in the pocker game ah well u win some and then you lose alot
would be really nice if you could choose to accept the planets or not caseu if the computer is trying to give me 5 level 3 or 2 planets in the middle of enemy territory i dont want them in any way shape or form they just suck in money in upkeep and in a couple of turns they are taken by the computer anyways
btw Drake what language is (BOLDOG ÚJ ÉVET!!!) from?
not only is it the year of Gal Civ 2 which in it of itself is amazin its also the year of Spore, Star Wars Empires at War, Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, (which should have been released this year) that new Zelda Game (they actually made link look good this time ) were finally going to know what the revolution is all about (besides the controller), PS3's going to be realeased, hopefully the XBOX 360 will get some more good games (and sto
well since it is a little late for merry christmas have a happy new year
i think that the ally should only be allowed to surrender to an extremely close civ or an ally only if they are getting beaten badly and only have 5 or so planets left anyways
its christmas!
fist idea i definently like alot since i have only played the demo of the first Gal Civ before i became interested in this one i really dont know too much about the differeent races and since there is going to be alot more new ppl coming in on the second gal civ because this time there is alot more advertiseing and coverage than there was before i think that it will really be important to have a storyline review or race descriptions somewhere in the game i know that you guys have the
thats probably some sort of bug dont knwo y they would change it
definnenlty think this would be good specially if you know your going to win and you want the last portions of the game to be agianst a desparate enemy that uses any advantage to win and if the enemy begins to win then you can tone it down a bit
yeah but every tiime this is included in a game i usually just sur for peace get tons of techs then declare war the next turn there should be something that prevent peopel from doing this like major moral penalties and other civilizations declaring war on you for not honoring a peace treaty. Also for violating a peace treaty the turn after its sighned should make your civilzation very very evil
you have a heck of a better english than i do and english was the only language that i was taught though as for putting spirit in there i definently think that there should be more tech descriptions but i kinda like some of the ones that are already in place because of the humor that they express (For example a couple of them say something like "look marketing had the day off and someone had to finish this") though i dfinelty would like some serious and a more complete technology desc
upgrading hasnt worked for me period so i havnt tried
