You can also get a UIS reference from SkinStudio. Just load up a UIS2 skin and go to Help/Generate Documentation.

I don't have the program in question, but it is likely that Ember is doing something non-standard that works when WB is not loaded but does not when it is, because WB expects it to be following standard routines. If this is the case it's likely that only Ember's programmer can change it to work correctly, since only they knew what they did. Perhaps you should invite the programmer to try his app with WB and see how it is a problem? Of course, you could do the same for WB, but it's more likely to
Unlikely. They're more in the way of perks than necessary things to enjoy your subscription. *g*

I can confirm that vacations have taken their toll, particularly because the person taking them is the one who does all the releases. WFX 2.0 and various other stuff is in the works, and I'm sure the release-a-day schedule will as soon a possible.
However, since you've paid for an ODNT subscription you do have unlimited access to the skin library.
moshi: If you have concerns about speed or stability I would recommend you try using some UIS1 skins. These are designed to be as fast and compatible as possible. You can search for them on WinCustomize by checking the "UIS1Plus Support" option on the WB library search page. Some of the skins that come with the default install are also UIS1, or have UIS1 subskins. You can check in the WB preview in Display Properties - if there are three windows, it is a UIS1 skin, if two, UIS2.
Bah. I''m college age, and I can fake experience, along with sophistication, technical skill *and* a sense of humour.
Michael: Actually, you shouldn't have to. If you find you can't get it to work, try the AddUser tool off of the download page at http://www.windowblinds.net/default.asp?page=download
Yes, it's used in the context of "Windows? What a rip of MacOS . . ."
I just wonder if they're taking IPs . . . *g*
http://www.ksdev.com/skinengine/screen.html is pretty bad, too. Can we say "PreLuna"? These guys have done it before. Looks like they need whacking down again.
Just realised - the first link doesn''t work, the "visit now" does.
Erm, not working here . . . still get that page.
Also, make sure the X size is as big as you want it to be as a maximum (eg 400, rather than 40).
"There will also be two honorable mention winners in which they will receive a non cash prize (Object Desktop Sweatshirt, T-Shirt, Object Desktop Subscription/Renewal, Lightweight Ninja T-Shirt or other merchandise)." I took that to mean "one of these", but it's easy to see how that could be interpreted as "all of these" - although considering the lowest prize was $12.75, half of which would go to the website, a renewal would be quite generous for a prize below that. <img src="ht

If you are not on XP, make sure that in the Skins tab WB is set to run at startup. If you are on XP it should run automatically if you have a skin selected - if it doesn't, go here - http://www.windowblinds.net/default.asp?page=download - and get the WB3 Fastload tweak.
Only 19 . . . /me goes off to spray his skins black.
Alan Carr: You probably have to have the same email address in your WC profile and as your ODNT subscription address.
Ande: It means that it connects directly to WinCustomize and changes the current skin in your ODNT applications as appropriate. It does no skinning work on it''s own - like WinStyles, it is a facilitator, making it easier to find, organise and apply skins and themes. Renegade: It''s certainly not reasonable to hypothesize that. Are you aware of the sheer number of people who just use the shareware versions, or who warez the enhanced versions? Neither of those categories have paid
Well, personally I'd wait until support was in - if Stardock want your money, then they'll work to get it in quickly. But it's up to you. Probably will only be a few days in any case, so it doesn't particularly matter.
Griffinme: If you want to be really crafty about it you can make the edges non-transparent, but all the rest can be transparent.
Oh, the entire window. It does the same sort of thing to WindowFX - makes the window layered, sets transparency. Two simple calls.
