A lot of us 'grew up' with computers more than others. I showed a website I made to my grandma, and she had no clue what she was looking at. She thought I made the whole computer itself. My mom is unable to distinguish the difference between signing onto AOL and logging onto Windows. A lot of computer users are 'morons' to some, but in some ways it would be like Stephen Hawking saying we're morons for not knowing what the heck he's talking about. There would be no, or very little viruse

The thin, light gray line between replies doesn't work too great. The seperate boxes for each reply worked well on the old forum, but if it doesn't fit in with the new design, just a more significant seperator. Even that gradient that Cerebro did up there would be good. And it would also be nice if I could post with out getting server errors in Firefox.

My mom's computer recently crashed, and after she bought a new one I decided to try to reformat. I put Vista Beta 2 on it, and was pretty impressed. I should say, that this computer is pretty crappy. 1.6 GHz, 385 RAM, integrated graphics and sound, 80GB HD. And you know what? Vista ran pretty smoothly. Sounds like a cool idea. You should look online for pictures of water and fountains, and look for the subtleties that make the difference between realistic looking water, and fake looking water. I'm anxious to see how this will turn out.

People don't mind big, intrusive government so long as it doesn't affect them. Or at least creates the illusion it doesn't affect them. When politicians keep their hands off business, and business keeps their money out of politicians' pockets, we have an environment for innovation as well as a fair government.

It could be said that skinning really grew up in XP because Luna was just so ugly and obnoxious. But I think it's just because people like skinning. After a few months, any GUI will get boring. As long as there is the capacity to skin, there will be skinners.
