I just a bought a new and quite cheap one. The Sansa clip. It's very popular and has a nice clear screen. It's much better than the Ipod shuffle and nano. It has great sound quality (far better than any Ipod, especially if you buy a good headphone/earphone set) and the battery life is also fine. The best thing is that you don't need Itunes to synchronise your music. Give it a try I would say. It's also so cheap that you don't have to worry about losing or damaging it.

I find it quite strange that there are no reviews available of this game. I hope they come soon.
Welcome to the game and this forum. I hope you'll ejoy it. Keep us posted about your experiences and post an AAR! Cheers!
Great. I am looking forward to it!
I was wondering if any of you have tried the new game Armada 2526? It seems very promising. I like that the game focuses a lot on macro management and quick play instead of coping with tedious micro management and long ship battles and ship designing aspects (various weapon types etc..). I also like it because it is tbs instead of rts like Sins. It will be better playable on laptops as a result (I presume). Unfortunately, there are no reviews available yet. Only a preview of IGN. That's why I
I don't like the micro management type of RTS games (although StarCraft was great). I would vote for Sins, Rome TW and Homeworld (I should really install that game again, does it work with Vista?). Supcom looks nice, but is also lots of micro management and is incredible system resource consuming (why can't they fix that?). Any good RTS games coming up soon?
Interesting survey on Lifehacker. The new Microsoft anti malware is very popular. Maybe I should try that one. Go to: http://lifehacker.com/5399564/five-best-antivirus-applications
After going through a full installation of windows and all my software etc that took me almost a full day, I want to be protected, but not too much so as to have enough system resources for playing games. What security software do you recommend for anti-virus and anti-malware? Which ones do you use? Does the browser you use make a lot of difference? Is Google Chrome better than IE8? Thanks for your kind advice!
I agree, haven't tested 7 tough. I've just installed XP again after having a very nasty malware in my pc. I hate those things.
The Economist newspaper ran an excellent article about this subject. I will never store my photo's on a digital server. Too afraid they'll get lost.
I shot many zombies in Left 4 Dead. Great game!
I agree Shift seems a good game. Now I just have to get a steering wheel, because with a keyboard it's too difficult and less fun.
battles just don't interest me
Same for me. Might be interesting to watch, but I don't like thinking about it too much. Just give me the strategic and diplomatic choices.
I really miss my 4x games.
What about Galciv2?
Intersting thread. lots of strategy advice. Inspires me to play another game.
Thanks Martok for the info. Would be nice if the developper would have a news page or a blog to keep up with the game's development. I agree VarekRaith, there should be more traditional (rts) 4x games
I've just tried the demo. Seems like a good game. Resembles civ a lot. Although it is much easier and quicker to play. I wonder how the AI will be considering the budget the company is likely to have. The thing I like more about this game than cive is that it starts with the modern age and that key resources are more important than in civ. Worse than Civ are the graphics and on a relatively high resolution it is difficult to guide units over the map. I recommend everyone that likes non-scifi
Worrying feedback. Do others agree? I haven't bought TA, but have DA and DL. Should I buy TA?
looks very promising and I'll keep following the development. I hope the AI will be good and that the space combat is not too much clicking. May the best fleet win and not the best mouse clicking admirals. When is the first demo due?
Hi all, As you probably know The Piratebay will soon close. I am curious what torrent websites will be your next favourites to follow the TPB?
Which ones do you use? I prefer rottentomatoes and IMDB. Are there any particular newspapers/magazines/websites that have exceptional reviewers? PS What do you think of the upcoming scifi movie The Road?
Maybe the game can be made more simple. With all the expansions the game has become deeper but has also an increased learning curve. So I would propose to have some aspects simpler, such as the combat system.
Great, thx for the continued support!
You have inspired me to play a new game of Galciv2 soon. I hope others will do the same!
