Am I the only one that does this? The opening menu music to Sins of a Solar Empire is so awesome that I will start up the game just to listen to it while I do chores around the house, etc. Whoever made the music for Sins of a Solar Empire needs to be given a huge raise. now. He or she should be designing the music for all games.

NOW ALL YOU GUYS CAN HAVE YOUR 500 PLANETS, TAKING 1 HOUR FOR EACH TURN JUST MOVING 200-300 NEW SHIPS PRODUCED ON THESE PLANETS, INSTEAD OF ONLY BEING ABLE TO MOVE 150 SHIPS AND TAKING 50 MINUTES PER TURN, IN THE RECENTLY "OMG-RUINED" VERSION OF THE GAME. IMHO, focusing on either tech or military spending can be very efficient. In my games, once I have enough planets and structures, I usually "go for the kill" where I stop expanding, stop improving my structures, stop improving my planets, etc. I then put 100% into research and research far into the weapons and defenses branches. I also always go for at least medium hull or large hull with decent miniturization. Once I feel my tech is good enough, I then stop bothering with researchin

So essentially the graphics will be enhanced, but the mechanics of how invasions themselves will work will be the same in that you just watch the battle with the same asteroid strike, newspaper drop, and other options as before. Planet invasions would be infinetely funner with just a few, simple tweaks. You could keep the graphics quality the same for all I care. However, a little more variety to ground combat, in that at least the soldiers look like their race will go a long way.

Can you imagine if a game like this was made? Where you had galciv 2, then civ for each planet, than a first person shooter for each battle?? Holy Cow! World of Warcraft will get a run for its money in being a time sink.
