But changing the number of high-PQ planets would affect the AI in the same way wouldn't it? Perhaps more so, as it makes each high-PQ world more valuable.

I found them too long, and a bit boring. There's nothing different from sandbox mode except you're restricted in tech, and it's the same map every time. Try accidentally deleting your save a couple of times and replaying the first 4 missions before moving on.

Wasn't that some dumb Japanese marketing thing that most dumb kids got hooked on? Not quite. It started as a fun adventure about a boy and his first poke'mon on the road to the poke'mon league, and all the adventures they would encounter along the way. Later is was ruined by repetitive plot lines and too many "educational" propaganda messages ab

For me, I have no shortage of great games to play, with about a half-dozen more being released in the near future. Lucky you. Can't afford to spend that much on games myself. I was going to be loyal to Stardock and save my money for them. Now that's looking less likely. I still say: Pre-Xmas Release + Post-Xmas Patch.

This module would allow you to explore debris fields. Debris fields can be left behind by ship battles. The first race to get a salvage ship to the debris field claims the prize. This can be a small lump sum of BC, or 5% towards a tech that the "owner" has, and you do not.

That's not really any good for people who don't use Beta's. Like many other people on a budget, I based my pre-order of DA on the fact that it was coming out in Autumn (the fall). I made the choice to wait for DA, when I could have bought other games by now and been playing them. So, it's not nice to hear that you've been messed about. The anticipation has grown so much, that playing the vanilla game doesn't feel the same anymore. Sure, they can postpone it if they want, but I

Games take longer to play (always a good thing) Hmm, I'm not totally sure about that. It would depend on my mood. Optional tactical combat? Yes! Not for GC2 though. It's too late. The system isn't good enough. PS If they put the release date back, I'll cancel my pre-order and find a new game I can play now instead.

Well, instead of building farms first off, you want entertainment zones and markets. You can boost your population later when you get more advanced economy buildings, or nab a morale bonus with a constructor. Research Trade early if possible. That helps too. Spread your trade routes, to minimize the damage in case of a sudden war. Don't bother to set up routes with people you might want to fight. It'll take some time for your worlds to develop. Until then you'll probably want t

Irish, you're right. We're not even sure what these extra features are. The vanilla game seems so boring now. I've been playing it, while imagining the extra features, which makes it seem a little flat. It's felt like waiting forever already. I don't think I can stay interested in it, and if I take a break I can't guarantee I'll feel like playing again when it finally does come out. If that happens I'll cancel my pre-order, because I'm not going to pay for something I'm only half-interested in u

Nooooooo!!!!! Don't delay the pack! Forget the extra features, you can always include them in the next expansion pack instead. We've all been waiting a really long time already, being given teasers to keep us interested, and expecting a release soon. Hearing news, like "it'll be another 4 months" would be like a massive punch in the gut. Like AlphaAsh, whenever I play a game of GC2 now, I'm thinking about the new features that are coming. Knowing what's coming, and comparing it to wh
