Their work is amazing. I imagine they get well compensated for their work for various companies, etc. And its cool that they are able to make so much of their custom work available for distribution to all.

Good catch, Doomgaze and Chris. It's called Universe Metal, unsurprisingly, and is found available for download on the second link Chris posted.
Kyro: there are a number of other threads here (and perhaps also the Help discussion board, I haven't yet checked) where people have similar issues. If you haven't already you might want to check them out and see if any info there helps. If not, well you could wait for a later build to come out and then see if people are still reporting those issues. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif"
Have you also tried posting in the MyIE2 support forum? In the past some people had conflicts between the browser and WB. I normally just let WB skin the browser top bar and exclude the rest of the app. Then use a skin for the browser that is complimmentary. Haven't fiddled with it lately though to see what other combos work. You may as you say be getting the most it can do at present with WB. <img src="http
"it placed Windows in my recycle bin!!" Oh that's not good. Best email SD support since this may be related to having a dual boot system (as some people have) and it'd be good for them to know what happened so this can be looked at. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absm
What kinds of themes do you mean? WindowBlinds? DesktopX? Are you looking for something that runs on W2K or just looks like it? In any event, you'll need the WindowBlinds program to make WindowBlinds work, DesktopX program to make DesktopX themes work, etc. Look in the libraries on this site...on each page there should be links to the needed programs and also help info. <img src="http://images.stardock.co
uh-oh. Now IRB is inspired...again. Be afraid, be very afraid.
"Babya Software Group would tonight like to offically announce Babya System 2004 has gone into RTM phase with downloads this weekend" RTM as in "released to manufacturers?" And what manufacturers would those be? Dell? Gateway? Sony? HP? Black & Decker? Mattel? [Message Edited]
Eh, don't fret too much, Bones. I still laugh when I remember when KarmaGirl lost her patience and said something not quite in keeping with the TOS. (She gave herself a warning afterwards, lol.) [Message Edited]
patience, grasshopper. and practice. oommmm (having a zen moment, sorry)
I previously suggested IP blocking all of oozeeland at least from the messageboard, but I doubt WC wants to go for that.
While nobrains/Imnotcool evidently is history, still best not to go on an oozehunt since inevitably he manages to reveal himself (one imagines that's part of the "fun") and gets exiled again. And if he doesn't reveal himself, that means he is behaving himself fairly well (for the moment) and that's ok too as long as the board isn't disrupted. Best to let those who can read the IP's make the determination of who's whoozee. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/joke.gif" bor
My recollection is that it was by Lecrayon, a very talented artist IMO. At one point he removed all of his older works here. Do a search for his name in either the WindowBlind or Cursor libraries and click on his name. His email address is there and perhaps he would send you the file for the cursor if he still has it. One of the rules of this site is that the author should control distribution of his work, so if an author removes something from a library it's rather bad form for someone
Edited: I don't see your desktop image if I click on your name. That's what you meant, isn't it? I do see your Texas is the daily shot, though. [Message Edited]
What is the program for? An explanation would be helpful. Many of people won't download and install a program without knowing what it is or purports to do.
"If WB is running and you exclude and app on XP then XP doesn't use the default Luna style???" No, it doesn't. While WB is running the Luna style is as if suspended and unskinned apps appear in the classic style GUI, with some color influence from the WB skin in use.
Ah yes, Style, remember wasn't 'Bourne" the nic of the "brother" of the ersatz skinner or the skinner that had the "brother" whose work was allegedly mistakenly attributed to the person whose late unlamented "absence" we are gathered here today to memorialize? (cough) In the beginning there was the Bourne if I recall correctly....and that is how we so charmingly made our first acquaintance with the now ubiquitous ooze. Where's Ms. Marple when she's needed? Or a handy butler with a can
Not a deep thinker our Uz, but a pretty good foil for some of IR's better lines.
I dunno, has anyone ever IP blocked not just an entire ISP but an entire nation from a message board? Might be something worth looking into, just in case.

As noted it's in beta now and beta versions are available to Object Dektop users only. When it's released as "final" 4.2, registered users of WB (who aren't OD subscribers) will be able to get the update.
Plus the new WindowBlinds in beta has the capability to skin IE/Explorer toolbars and icons. There are already some skins being updated with those features. (I remember when WB skins were fairly simple, now WB can skin so much skinners have much more work to do but the results can be rather awesome.) Anyway, some folks here do use the patch and WindowBlinds, but now that SkinStudio Pro (which Object Desktop users get as a part of the suite of apps) allows for conversion of msstyle them
Most people who download and use skins, walls, etc. do not leave comments (or simply cannot post comments due to their user status) so it's not unsual to see thousands of downloads and few if any comments.
Leo: the creation of the WC skinning messageboard was intended to allow that sort of feedback and assistance among/between users. Whether it's getting used enough for such purposes, I don't know. Naturally it's all voluntary and not particularly structured but the admins and mods have enough specific duties which they take on voluntarily. That some of them also take time to assist folks on these boards on skinning other matters is a tribute to them. But I recall the major reason messa
Very kind of Frogboy to take action and allow Drakon's skin a fair start once the skin was fixed. I figured the initital low ratings were due to the nonfunctionality of the skin when first uploaded. The two skins are similar but different and, although the style isn't flashy, I like them both. Quite serviceable skins. <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=full&News
