There are no terror stars, if thats what you are asking. The closest you can get is the Korath super ability, spore weapons, which poisons a planet's atmosphere, killing all life.

If they bully you into subbision it is because they fear the power of your mind. Go and PROVE them wrong. It is only the fool that douts and questions the power of the mind. Hey, from someone with genetics experience: It's esentially scientific ethical code to not clone humans, or alter thier genetics in a non-therapuetic way. (ie - pre birth). That's like super taboo. Sorry if we somehow made this thread sound like some comspiracy theory. It sort of got that way. Thanks for the insight by the way. I not going to say that us Autistic are better then nero's but I reakon that I and

Overall though I have to say that play balance is better. Previously a human player can walk away with the store if each trade is ‘fair’ since, with tech whoring, the human will then get a number of ‘fair’ trades based on the number of AIs – and make out like a bandit... Maybe there should be a penalty applied to tech whores. If you sell one tech to every race, a rumour should spead talking about what you did. Once the AI gets wind, they would become mor

*Yawn* I don't feel like letting this post die just quite yet. 1) Why would the super race rebel? If the super race is that good, wouldn't it be us trying to rebel. Lets face it, if the super rich and powerful were the ones to have their children augmented, then wouldn't those children inherit their 'parents' money and power? So not only would there be the next generation of rich and powerful, but they would most likely be even more rich and powerful, because of their augmented abil

There is no fortify command at this time. Sad, but true. The alternatives (sentry and guard) are canceled when the appropiate ship type gets into sensor range. Any ship for sentry, and enemy ships for guard.

Wow, never realized there were so many other people with Asperger's here. Or on forums in general. Hullo thar! Our numbers are slowly growing. In time, we'll be ready to take over the world. *Insert evil laugh* But anyways, yes. I think the only defects that should be screenable are life threatening defects. Aspergers is not life-threatening. Autism isn't either. Down Syndrome can be, so I'm iffy on that. But hair colo

Oh my..... Once I read your post Divine I had to respond because it was just.... I must of done a good job writing then. And your statement has no validity to people that don't believe the way you do. I am not just talking about your religion but also the ASSUMPTION (not fact) that you think everything is perfect and ment to be the way it is. If you can give me some direct evidence that 1)God exists 2)That God is perf

Alright, here I go... God is good. God is perfect. Blah, blah, blah... Because God is perfect, when he decided to create the world, he choose to create the best one, because to create any other would mean he would not be perfect. In this world, he created all sorts of creatures including us. Of all the possible forms he could of created us with, he choose to create us in the way we exist now. Of all the abilities, talents, and skills he could of given us, he gave us wh

Bloody hell, I have never had a forum with this many lower-grade Autistic brothers in it, well... ...I say you make the above statement out of complete ignorance of just how much your life can suck from physical abnormalities... I'm assuming that those statements might of been directed at me since I made an effort to create an arguement to get people's skin to crawl. Could you guys be a little bit more specific a

ok your genes have delt you a bad card so what, bathoven was deaf, Di Vinci was gay and Autistic. If stem-cells and genectic engineering come to the future of mankind it will be the end of us. It is our weaknesses that give us the strength to move forward and reminds us of our morality if we cure all of these defections we will lose our flear and our indiviuallity. I want to help people going though deeper hells then I, but the way to do that is to accept them for who

BTW, check out this website: I am not kidding when I say I have visual snow; it litterally is like seeing through a badly tuned T.V. set. www.visualsnow.com. I'm not sure if you can get better at this point in time, so I'll just say "Best of luck at getting better." just in case. BTW, thanks for the link. I'm sure it'll be an interesting read, especially coming from someone who has a good reason to know about snowy vision. <div class="

You guys are spending way too much time trying find connections between two very unrelated things. The fact that the Yor started a war on a day 300 years after Hitler invaded Poland, is a mere coincidence. ... ... ... Suffice to say, keep up the good work. Its ammusing to read what you guys come up with.

Probally hardcoded. GalCiv 2 doesn't seem to support original content all too well. I can't even mod in a starbase module that would increase a starbase's hitpoints.

• SBs need to be repairable: As far as I know (and I could be wrong) SBs don’t heal themselves. At least if they do, its so slow that I have yet to notice. A SB should, at a minimum repair itself or allow a constructor do the job. *see Repair Bay for idea* They do fix themselves, just way too slow for it to matter. • Add maintenance costs to all SBs except econ and mining In DA, all starbases have ma

BTW, what does the Allow AI to use CPU-intensive algorithms option do? Increase the AI inteligence? No. The AI requires some time to do some calculations. Its possible that the time you are using to govern your empire, and the time inbetween turns is not enough time for the AI to make decisions. As such, it might act with a half formulated plan that is easier to exploit. The option you are asking about allows the AI enough tim

In the manual, it states that the Econ Capital doubles the economy of a planet. We know that is not true; the in game description states that it gives a 50% economic boost. However, that 50% increase is only an increase in the base economy, not 50% increase to the overall planet economy after bonuses. That means that the Econ Capital functions exactly like 2 stock exchanges, which really is not that much of a bonus. Perhaps it has changed. The Manufactur

What changes I would like? Hmm... I have a long list, but I'll post only a few. Its not an expansion. 1. A fortify location command. Both the sentry and guard commands allow you to tell ships to not to bug you, but suffer from a problem. The sentry command is cancelled when ever another races' ship comes into sensor range, and the guard is cancelled only when its an enemy ship. The problem is, sometimes you don't want to cancel... ever. Since starbases are not powerful enough to def

I also seen such an event occur in Dread Lords. Its not very often they decide to take on the entire galaxy. I however, hate minor races. They take galatic resources during the time every major race is trying to get planets, and they are never willing to sell. On top of that, the Pirates ignore them, which means they are free to collect all of galatic resources as the pirates destroy mining starbases. My god! Could the pirates be friends with the minors? I knew the minor races

*Sigh* Can't the devs get the Dread Lords right. I want a good fight... Well, it's funny, they're much more powerful in this game than I've ever seen them before. I suspect Brad's tweaks really have made them a more viable opponent in 1.5X, especially if they don't pop up right next to a human. I can't fathom why they're offering me peace, honestly. They've wiped out most of my military with 2 ships for pity
