Should I bother asking if this is published in the UK...
Mighty Mongoose
the Brit one is much funnier simply because of the words and accents I don't know the people in the American ones but the Brit ones are two incredibly successful and innovative comedians. Something you may not know: David Mitchell (PC) :- Hard working, prolific and distinguished BAFTA award nominated actor and comedian <br/
PC Gamer US only >shakes fist
Ah, that might have something to do with the fact I have a bookmark for the forums and shoot straight here sometimes.
You wouldn't happen to have a link to an American one would you...I'm kinda curious to see it. Never mind, found them, it seems they are the same on both sides of the Atlantic but with different actors, just to appeal to different countries, mah well, they're still funny. Not to be insulting and this may be a bit of patriotism here but I prefer the Brit version.
Wow! Two questions: Where did you find that? And will that be in the UK print of PC Gamer? The thing is though, that issue will most likely be out in February, since mags always seem to put their issues out with the following month on the front, I think it is for printing reasons. Basically they start printing the March issue in February and get it out as soon as possible, which is normally February. It's confusing but in this case...potential good news!
These ads are really funny, there are so many but I managed to wittle it down to the one I think is the funniest. Holiday larks There's plenty more, worth a look. Apple have a genius marketing department, shame the ads are all lies.
No I don't think so, I asked and Frogboy said on a thread somewhere that it was out.
In all these years, i havn't found any games that measure up to TA in it's category. I managed to nab a disk of one of my mates, just to say, wow. I can agree with your statement, shame I have to give it back really. <TD class="mb-Body-Quote-Tex
I don't know who made it. What is 'supreme commander'? Lookee here...required Flash 8
Something I forgot to mention earlier, better pre-game customisation in regards to the appearance of your ships. Yeah now we can choose colours, but there should be options like "glossify" (if that's even a word) where we can make the ship hulls more glossy and shiny, or "damage" where we can make our hulls look scratched and scorhed, and "tint", basically it can be one colour (for example white) but reflects light as blue (or any colour) giving it a nice multicoloured sheen. Also namep
Didn't Chris Taylor make that game? I've never played it personally, but I am looking forward to Supreme Commander.
I think cats have a worse memory than dogs, but independence is one of the best signs of intelligence.
My cat sits and rolls over on command. He also *tries* to fetch newspapers and frisbees. We had him from a kitten and he grew up with two dogs, so naturally he thinks he is a dog!
Reasonably scaled planets. ie planets that look like planets in regards to size (though not so much that your graphics card gets nosebleeds every time it has to render one) and ships that are scaled realistically, if a ship is two kilmetres long, dammit it should look two kilometres long. And the ability to zoom right the way down until your practically flying on wing with any ship. Ooh, and the ability to name your faction in skirmishes, yeah you'd play as the TEC or Vasari o
WWW Link This says it all. Hilarious. A fully armed battle group is often the most effective diplomatic tool.
Unfortunately it may be too late to win the war at this stage. While trade and the like is an admirable path that will instill you as a beacon of hope and goodwill in the galaxy, 8 out of 10 times you will end up dead. But that doesn't mean don't do what your doing, its the one of the best strategy's out there, but it is good to have at least a small(ish) military, consisting of a few medium ships and even a couple of large ones just to keep any other civ off your back and to protect yo
Oh cool, never mind then!
3 Supreme commander (if it doesnt boil down to shit, AND if it runs on my PC) There are plenty of good omens for this game, PC Gamer gave it 91%, I like to form my own opinions on games, but that is encouraging. Plus most of the gameplay I've seen so far is awesome, if its fun to watch, it should be fun to play. The only thing I
The first game I ever played (I know I'm too young to be nostalgic but here goes) was Worms . I must've been about five, and Dad was playing it on our old Acorn computer (don't ask me the specs I can't think that low) and I became hooked instantly. Turning point in my life, for better or worse? Better: I have greatly improved my knowledge of computers from reading system requirements Worse: My wrist ac
2000 years ago in Egypt, cats were worshipped as Gods, they have not forgotten this.
I would definetly like to see better, more exciting combat, possibly procedurally generated battles (I know its hard Stardock but most computer nerds wet themselves when they hear those two words). More animations, maybe Homeworld style battles (but purely simulated, no tactical involvement) by which I mean ships don't take it in turns to shoot at each other, well, that is, they do, but to us it doesn't look that way, they sit there levelling broadsides continuosly while the computer does the nu
Wow, I really like your ships Bingjack! Especially the Constructor Droid!
Er, ok, since everyone else is doing it, my top 6. Sins/GC2 DA (joint 1st) Supreme Commander Spore (If it'll run on my PC) Crackdown Mass Effect Halo 3 Basically I will definitely be getting these games at some point. REAL FS2 Man that game rocked, I still play it even now with the SCP enhancements a
Congratulations Ironclad! That must've been quite a pat on the back. And yes, I am also curious about the Beta.
