Well from what limited knowledge there is the "Races" section I can tell you that the TEC have at least a Battleship archetype, a Cruiser and a Dreadnought. I'm also guessing they have frigates and fighters etc. Not sure about the Vasari or Advent thought, but I assume that their ships would be divided up accordingly. Either way, if ships aren't divided by type, they should be divided by size. Or have a specialised facility all to themselves.
Mighty Mongoose
All weapons have unique impact effects and I know which one looks like that and it isn't a beam I take it your not about to tell us what the weapons actually is?
The Movies: Stunts and Effects, spent ages with that one.
Jealous much?
Galciv2 gave us a tech tree, maybe you could do a starship list of something.
Er...not that I do that.......>awkward shuffle< Wasn't this thread about the BETA?
keep your pseudo-sexual fetishes to yourselves, ok? Okey dokey, I'll wear a diaper from now on.
homeworld I played Homeworld, good game. But the battles at times could be underwhelming with smallish fleets shooting at each other, plus the plot was underdeveloped, I reckon Sins will be better. However, in Sins
I think that fleet may just be flying in a 2D formation, to minimise how many of their ships can be hit by defences.
lol, stop being paranoid and relax. it was just being imaginative on the first post when you didn't understood what i was saying. if you read back it was meant to be joked about how good the details is on the planets surface. unless your imagination is limited tho it's always good to keep an open mind, no conspiracy here man so don't panik. Oh..
Armada Online Howzat? Information is sparse but it shows promise.
Nukes, hate 'em in real life, but god there is a twinge of excitement at the prospect of nuking my enemy into a cloud.
WOW! Nice!
I am getting this game, sometimes you look at a game and think, yes!! It just looks like it could be a fun blast and I would enjoy despite any issues. At worst, it'll be a nice filler between now and Sins, at best, we'll all be eating humble pie. and I don't feel attached to my units, as most of them you have to build 100-200-900 of , lol... </ta
Surely that's a good sign if a game is so exciting we want the sequel already.
If you want organic ships click here , this is obviously not Sins but it is real time and fully incorporates all strategy in relation to biological ships, you can mutate ships and they evolve as the game progresses, have a look see! And now to compensate for advertising another game...buy Sins! Or else!
SoaSE II That's a nice thought...
As far as we know none of the ships in Sins are organic, but Ironclad are remaining tightlipped on specifics, so maybe, who knows. The Vasari ships do have a very organic type feel to them though.
It is a digital only release So does that mean there is now no longer an option to download and get a CD shipped?
battlestar galactica is the best. thats my 33 cents. Man that show rocks, but so does 24, don't make me choose!
I'm excited. But for me this would be nothing but a stop gap until Sins, whereas Genesis is an RTS, Sins is "RT4X", which is something new and I feel more worthy of my attention....that said I may still get this game to satisfy my bloodlust.
Y'know, you can so totally tell that the journalist actually *wants* this game.
i on the other hand am a moderate 21, young but not quite stupid young... hopefully. What is that supposed to mean!? Kidding
So, am I amongst the methusalems around here (43) I am humbled, for I am in the presence of a god.
That is a rather old screenshot and several things have been implemented in the game since then.
