Evil, it does appear that you're becoming quite the good GalCiv2 citizen. Evil Stormbringer, since you're so well behaving, maybe it's time to change your name.. A few suggestions: - Moderately Evil Stormbringer maybe you dare: - Neutral or Good Stormbringer this one, when you have completed your transformation into a Car
SideMancer
Anyway... i tried it. Didn't work. Did you spin three times around on your chair as well? Else it won't work. I have had the same problem several times, but for me, reloading a previous save always solved it. Can't you do anything about that weird
With modern operating systems, its rare to ever need to do a restart What is this "modern operating system", I need to have it...
I see a lot of these 'I have an idea.. and I need people to make it ideas', but what can YOU actually do Lordpinko??
Like shadowmaster said, it should be valuable to a small race, and useless to a powerful one. Hey, wait a minute, I said that!
Nice idea! I think it should be balanced so that especially smaller factions can use this feature to compensate for lack of money, military etc. Larger factions could also use privateers, but for them it would be less valuable. Maybe this could be arranged by limiting the power of privateers or the income they can provide, which seems realistic. It reminds me of Sid Meier's Pirates! (the recent one), a great game!
a bit like a omfg haha, yeah, I'm relatively new to forums and forum slang, so I'm always guessing the abreviations (LOL, IMHO, FYI etc.) I couldn't make anything of this, 'oh my mother.. mega.. monstrous.. ' There must be a huge complaint and/or discovery
Obviously Mediocre Multiplayer Game?
Hmmm, I didn't know that either, never thought of that, thanks for mentioning! Real space is so boring, empty, soundless and now no color!
Common guys, it isn't that big a deal, I'm already regretting my stab at the OP..
I think it is funny that no devs have made any comments whatsoever. Funny and sensible. Just like Mumblefratz!
I find the comments of the OP irritating but entertaining at the same time?? I especially like the attempts of this poster (and others) to enhance their status by trying to summon the creators of their universe to communicate with them and do their (the posters) bidding. Also entertaining, I think is, the thought of how you create a post stating that you will only read posts from the dev
The best place for them, in my opinion, if you're just upgrading the trade lines, is at the furthest point you can put them in your empire along the path of travel. Of course, this means you won't get production bonusses for your own planets. Up to now I've only built econ bases near my own planets because I wanted both production and trade bonu

I've had two Alliances in my current 3.1 tough game. Maybe it was coincidence but I tried to make lots of trade routes, give away stuff from time to time, traded stuff and have an impressive military. However, I wasn't able to get a third faction (Alterians) to 'close'. Even when I gave them a planet and they said relations were improved, nothing changed. To make matters worse, a couple of my fleets were in the area of the planet I gave them, so they got angry and declared war. By that t
I think the military starbase should at least be a 'fortress', capable of defending itself. I now sometimes upgrade starbases to the max because of compulsive upgrade behaviour, but not because it's useful.
So what kind of attack value would you assign to said dead horse. I suppose it would have to be a mass driver attack as in "jette le vache" from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. This is more complicated than it may seem. In order to make realistic/game balanced carriers I really like the idea of miniaturized or microscopic fighters. So f
Or, create a new ship class smaller then tiny. I'm thinking maybe enough room for a weapon and that's it. Put some hanger bays on a huge/large they can dock in. Done. I must admit, I'm warming up to this whole carrier thing with these great ideas! The smaller than tiny hull would be called 'microscopic'. These fighters would be very cheap bec
... Maybe dead horses could somehow be implemented in GalCiv III, my idea would be to have maybe a squadron of 20 dead horses per carrier or something like that. Ok, now I'll stop being silly. (no offence to the carrier-crazy people out there)
I thought this picture belongs here. Just staring at the dead horse for a very very long time, makes me almost think.. carriers might be good idea afterall.. ... or.. maybe not.
If it were possible to have different bonuses based on what the primary race occupying the planet were, and have the ability to mix and match races living together under your control, that would be wild. Wow, this is an exellent idea! Even a simple version without mix&ndmatch but replacing with your own when invading and keeping original populati
More free updates from Stardock? I think that calls for a "yay!" (w00t is so overused) Yay!
I like the idea of powerplants in ships, I like the idea of only being able to put big guns on big ships.
I used it as a cheat once, when almost all of the Alterian fleets were chasing my freighters. Their largest concentration of planets was also in this area, but I manage to slip a couple of attack and invasion fleets by their forces and invaded a whole bunch of planets, making them surrender at once and evaporating their fleets. For one time it was fun, otherwise it is kind of an annoying bug (the one that bothers me the most actually, when playing a game).
