DavidK - i can fit in all those endtime prophecies into every major epoch of human history, except the pre-cooked food. the zenith of human depravity peaks and falls in different locals at different times. still, it certainly gives an apt description of what can be widely seen in cultures around the world today. perhaps more widely than in the past.

WhaT?? This can't be true! Paul likes Everyone... -China faint reassurance. i once knew of a tiger in northern thailand that also seemed to like absolutely everyone - perhaps a bit too much. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.gi

My old monitor is such a strain on my eyes. A LCD monitor will preserve them better, letting me view upon your beauty for all my life. You wouldn't want to take that joy away from me, would you?" "here's 100 bucks - go get some new glasses!" will more likely be the response. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/jokegrim.gif" border

you need a "boys toys" money stash which only you control. my wife also has one which i can't touch or discuss. BTW: if you tell your better half that your pants make her rearend look fat, she'll probably give them back to you.

my inlaws spewed venom at me for 4 years because my wife and i eloped and invited no one to the wedding. then their younger daughter's massive blowout wedding nearly destroyed them, and took them 5 years to pay off. i've been rather well treated by them ever since.

there should be an oscar acting award for husbands. wives have no idea how draining it is to always have to put up a credible pretense of being wrong in the face of all the contradictory evidence.

my old air force nick "buzz" is always taken. bangkok is the only city where i've found myself totally incapable of wearing out my welcome. ( and i've made a number of good runs at it over the years). stuck with the english version since chay_kroong_thep_maha_nakawn doesn't work well.

the precession and nutation of the earth's polar axis as it rotates varies the weather more than greenhouse gases. ( look at the magnitude of the "P & N" corrections in celestial navigation star tables if you doubt). when the earth has had enough of us, it will remove us like a dog shaking the water out of its fur, and it will be quite a lively show! nukes are neither good nor evil. the human race is decidedly evil. perhaps we should mix the two with great caution. <img src="http://im

It seems strange to me to boast about being good at a sport in which a group of men regularly grab each others groins... from the above we non-rugby rats always assumed that the game term "scrum" was just a contraction of scrotum. all the lads lean in and kick & flail wildly at each others midsections until someone accidentally disturbs the ball

larry, you glossed right over some of my ancestors - picts, druids, etc. highlander ferocity has been made too much of on tv. but then again, the germans in WW I did track their deployments carefully and bolster defenses accordingly, and referred to them lovingly as "die hoelledamen" - the ladies from hell. <

in-a-gadda-da-vida -- baby the lyrics were "in the garden of eden, baby" but the singer was so ripped it came out as a nonsensical million seller. wish my goofs turned out as well! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.gif" border=0 ALIGN="a
