I've been using System Works on my desktop since I first got it in 2001, faithfully upgrading about six months after a newer version comes out. I've been somewhat happy with it, but that is wearing out quickly. Upgrading, itself, is becoming a major nightmare and long drawn out process. NSW seems to have become just another bloat-ware. I made the (big) mistake of buying and installing NIS on my laptop. Needle

I downloaded/installed it yesterday...the wall wasn't to my liking, the skin was okay, just so-so, and it changed my system sounds (back to default). So I switched back to Windowblinds right away.
everytime I attempt to change the size of my comments in WC forums, the bbcode "]" bracket gets changed to a >. I end up having to edit my post to correct this. Here's an example: size="2"] " after I select post comment. I have similar issues with posting from either IE7 (final) or FF (1507) using the quic
Happy Halloween!
Okay, I've updated WB on my laptop to current, and there is NO black bar across the IE7 final toolbar/tab area.
I installed the new IE7 on my laptop, which is running WB 4.X, and was getting the black bar. I haven't had time to get back to it and update to the latest WB version...I'll try that right now.
I got that same black bar across the toolbar when I installed IE7 final on my laptop, which has an older pre-5.0 Windowblinds version. I will be updating WB on that system soon, and will let you know if that fixes it or not. (I tried various skins, including Longhorn Slate 4051).
Looks great! Can't wait to see what customizable goodies (site skins) will be available for subscribers.
Wow! These are all amazing sets! Hard to vote, they all look like winners to me!
I recently updated SDC to version 2.36.426. build 134 Now, whenever I launch SDC, I get a series of errors, and eventually it finishes loading. A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to Debug? Line: 108 Error: Object expected ------------ I click YES ------------ "Just-In-Time Debugging An exception 'Runtime Error' has occurred in Script. Sorry for the double-posting... I made another skin, with four colors...where do I send them?
There is a Rumshot guide HERE. It includes info on skinning.
In the mean time can you send me your theme? Well, that one was just a test, to see if I could actually make one that worked. But it did, so I'll try making some suitable for public consumption.
This really is a cool program! I just started using it, and even made my own skin! Maybe we should consider adding Rumshot skins to the library/gallery?
Thanks for the update, looks great!
Happy Birthday Jafo!! [/color]

I won't be jumping on this bandwagon, since I just got a 30 gig Zen Vision:M, which I'm liking quite a bit. The black and white look nice, but the brown...yikes!
Congratulations!
For subscribers: It'll be skinnable. You guys and gals are doing an excellent job with upgrading this massive site...it just gets better and better everytime! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc
Hi, is there an update to this version? Your post says it expires today. I'd like to try it out, but will wait for the next version. Thanks!
I also wanted to add on the Daz website there is a special to get the 5.5 upgrade for only $20. Island Dog, do you happen to have a link to that information? I couldn't find anything about special upgrade prices.
Happy Birthday Enigma! I'm glad to hear that you're doing better.
Thank you very much for the "Mark all posts as read" and the nav links at the bottom of each page!
