I've been considering these guys as well...have any of you transfered a domain to them? If so, any problems with it? I just want to make sure to keep my domain entirely under my ownership when I transfer it. I need to hurry and decide, as their promotion (3 years free) ends on 1/21. Another web hosting company that has been recommended to me is http://www.fuitadnet.com/ Anyone know anything about them? Thanks! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif" bord

I made a quick .png icon for AIM+ but it ended up being a little smaller than the normal OD icons, around 160x160 pixels...also not the best, but it might work until someone can come up with a better one. If you're still interested, I could submit it for the library.

This site has some fairly cool effects done in PSP...they're for the older versions, but you should be able to achieve them in version 8. http://www.pinoy7.com/psptutorials/default.htm

I'm using version 8.1 and this is how I would do it... - File > New Image - Set the size, and check the Transparent background - Click on the Preset Shape Tool...in the toolbar, uncheck Vector and Retain Style, but check Anti-Alias - Set your Stroke (the circle's outline) color and Fill (solid or gradient) color - Press/hold Shift key, and drag a circle from somewhere in upper left corner of your canvas, then release - This should draw your circle with the fill...th

For all the English language challenged (l33t speak) posters we've had lately, here's your test. It said I got " t out of 10 correct " ...is that good? As for the grammar quiz, 8 out of 10 correct... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images

Don't know about CS...but on PS7, you can resize your main window smaller, then drag whatever pallettes to your desktop, then (if you have PS skinned) rollup the main window...I just tried it and it worked okay with version 7.

The only way I could figure out how to remove the recycle bin icon from my desktop was to install TweakUI for XP...it has an option to remove individual icons, plus a few other handy tools. You can find TweakUI here > http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/tweakui

Kona: same here. IR: Same was happening for me, I just checked and noticed there is a checkbox for Use Mouseover which I unchecked, and it won't activate the dock while you have a window over it.

New 21" monitor with resident resolution of 1600x1200, and a new graphics card nVidia GeForce FX 5200 Ultra w/ Dual RAMDACs for display res up to 2048x1536...but I generally use 1280x1024 for my comfort level. Our admin person at work has a 19" LCD monitor and uses whatever the next lower resolution from 800x600 is...ick, makes a normal desktop icon look like a wallet-sized photo!

If you open your IconPackager, then go to Icons and Cursors (second on the left side), click on the different buttons across the top, you can change the various system icons, like the IE documents and folders. Just highlight one of the icon types, then click on change (or browse). That way, all your IE document icons listed in your favorites (as well as the folders) will be changed. Also, there is a discussion (in General) about Favicons, with information on how to use individual website

The .ico icons that are included in some downloads are just bonus extras...should someone want to change their desktop or start menu icons. I haven't seen a roller coaster .png file here, but you could probably easily make one...just find an image of one and fix it up in a graphics program (Photoshop, PSP, etc.) then save it as a .png graphic at around 192x192 pixels in size.
