What? We are America, we blow up two nations before we even begin to think! Maybe I am reading this wrong, but are you saying America is being too passive and needs to be more aggressive towards the extremist? I had no idea Europeans thought about us that way... You lot are all nice people, too nice. It doesn't really surprise me that you don't want to face what's really going on. A lot of people in Europe hoped that America would get up to speed after 9/11 but it seems that you are still looking for excuses so you don't have to make hard decisions. I'm not judging you but the longer you leave it the harder its going to get. I understand President Putin spoke to your Preside
We certainly need another Baroness Thatcher to save us from the abyss once again, unfortunately Blair et al has put Britain in an even greater mess than it was in 1977. Believe me, most of the press/entertainers/young put her on the same footing as Hitler. That's how warped Britain has become I'm afraid.
"while other mothers are off bustling their kids to horse riding lessons, ski lessons, exotic languages lessons and whatever else the town has to offer." I wonder about all this elitist programming that parents think they have to do. I went to private school myself and believe me the first thing you do in your 20's is give all that stuff up, playing the violin, riding horses and skiing is time consuming and the preserve of the idle rich - its too
No slowdowns noticed here. Non-story IMHO.
Sorry to bother you again, but I've started using Visual Studio 2012 in my day job, and I couldn't find appropriate replacement for MetalMargin. Do you have plans to release version for vs2012, and when would it be? Best regards.
+1 Can I add my support for this request too?
I have bought an Office 2013 Pro Plus license and very nice it is too but I had a hunch that they were never going to enforce the full license agreement. MS are actually quite lax when pressed on these things. For some reason they thing this is good PR.
Good news, you've caught the attention of UK based IT news website "The Register" with this. Definetely a favourable review : http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/03/08/modernmix_saves_windows8/
I have to admit I love it. Its been a great shot of beauty much needed to counteract the austerity of the Windows 8 interface.
Its easy to make light of this but this is another example of a growing problem. Massive scale organised state hacking instigated by the Chinese Government, we [the west] are at war but our leaders don't want to face the truth. Probably because they have allowed something like 80% of our productive capacity to relocate there. Sooner or later this is going to escalate into something. <a href="http://crave.cnet.c
I have a question: What happened to the random wallpaper option? I can't find it.
I have a 2560x1440 WQHD monitor and unfortunately most of the video based dreams look pretty awful on it (not the creator's fault), the simple fact that most HD video editors stop at 1080p is the problem. Deskscapes is a great program but thanks to the march of technology it may be time to look at other ways of approaching how content is created for it. I have some ideas that I'm working on now and I'll let you know how they are progressing when I

I have a daughter about to start school in January so this event affected me and my wife quite a lot even though we live safe and sound in the UK. I simply cannot contemplate how anyone could harm small children at such an innocent age under any circumstances. <span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-
I tried very hard to adjust to the new interface and way of doing things. Eventually I capitulated and installed Start8 - phew that's better!
Hi Guys, I know you have mentioned that you would not have a build ready for the launch but I was wondering what sort of timeline you would expect? I ask because I'm due a workstation upgrade and its going to include a fresh W8 install. I didn't install WB on my current computer as I always found Windows 7 pretty enough for me, however after two weeks with Visual Studio 2012 Pro I'm starting to pine for pretty windows again. &n
All I need now is windowblinds for windows 8 to give me transparent title bars again and I'm in. Awaiting descscape port too for that extra UI warm and fuzzy feeling but that's second on my list.
Most of my consultancy work is in Credit Risk modelling. Considering the world economy is currently embroiled in what economists refer to as K-Winter ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kondratiev_wave ), probably worse than even the Great Depression; I think their logo is symbolic of the next ten years of the business environment.
Do you have any other NVidia tools installed? I found Ntune caused problems : https://forums.wincustomize.com/426262
*** I Owe Neil Banfield a big fat apology *** I managed to find the real cause (somewhat accidentally during a debug session) and it was in fact Nvidia Ntune that was causing the problem
Why the outsourcing of Apple products to a slave labor factory in China? They couldn't be made here in the USA? Another CEO, with a bottom line attitude..IMHO. Steve (where are the) Jobs.
You can't call it a failure since it isn't even available yet. Windows 8 is a transition OS that's going to start merging the desktop, mobile, and tablets together. Mountain Lion on OS X is doing it, and whether you like it or not, that's the future of operating systems. You can operate Windows 8 in desktop mode and be just fine, and of course there's going to be customization of it. [/quote
Well I spoke too soon. Regular BSoD have been a plague so I have had to disable WinFx 5 and Descscapes to get some peace. Either my graphics card is dying or your support for Nvidia lapsing. I have to work so they will have to stay off for now. Let me know when you have a solution for interoperability with the Nvidia drivers. @Neil You may prefer AMD but I need to write CUD
