I do get a buzz out of "throwing my windows" across my desktop. Docking to corners, docking horizontal or vertical only (flicks) but most of all pin on top - all useful workflow features.

It would be great if the window dimming feature could be time-delayed in a similar way to the inactive windows being minimised.
It looks to me that Microsoft have just given Stardock a massive shot in the arm [with the new desktop UI theme]. This may look bad but the solution is only an install away.

foobar2000 v.1.1.8 goes invisible when I grip the top and move the application window around the desktop. Titlebar blur goes inactive (sharp) when I move any window. Minimize icon on iTunes 10.5.3.3 does not animate but taskbar icon does. [Windows 7 32-bit, GTX280]

So windows 8 is going to drop the sidebar from the "classic" interface? Not one of their best ideas. I use it a fair bit and I think its popular with less technical users too.

So let me see... this is a new task-switcher. I have the "super-bar". I have alt-tab. I have win-tab. I need another? Its a good idea for a tablet, the task switching on the iPad stinks but this isn't going to be productive on a PC.

@DaveBax and @Philly0381 Obviously I feel the same as you guys but lets be honest, the forums seem much quieter here and on other UI/Customization sites than they were mid 2000s. I do think Windows 7 was sufficient improvement in appearance for most people and as a result the enthusiast community has shrunk.
