You need to switch to the 285 drivers which apparently are ok. There is something wrong in the 295 and 300 series drivers on some systems, though we have yet to reproduce any issues here.
Thanks Neil, that has resolved the instability and I'm able to run WinFX again. Hopefully you'll have a work around (or Nvidia a fix) by the time I upgrade to a 600 series card. <

Like this chap, the beta was fine for me. I've had to turn Win FX off as I have work to do - shame about that, I liked it. Do you happen to recall if you installed the RC build or not? That is the build that introduced the desktop

You should play her the final credits from "The Empire Strikes Back". It must be the most beautiful and emotional film score in cinema history, the man is a genius. I can understand why the Imperial March might get on the nerves eventually, its Wagner in Wellington boots - but its meant to be.

foobar2000 v.1.1.8 goes invisible when I grip the top and move the application window around the desktop. Titlebar blur goes inactive (sharp) when I move any window. Minimize icon on iTunes 10.5.3.3 does not animate but taskbar icon does. [Windows 7 32-bit, GTX280]
All this from a formerly staunch Labor voter.
Then you are part of the problem and not the solution. All socialist regimes end in totalitarianism and financial ruin - thought you studied history? You should make amends by giving all your free time to canvassing for the conservative party. For the rest of your life.

America is in this predicament because the American left (Clinton/Summers) repealed the Glass-Stiegel act and backed GATT. Time you woke-up to the enemy within.

OK, I've been using it at work on my dual screen set-up. It is very useful when used like this, I have an extra page for my x-terms and another for dev tools. My only criticism is the animations and updates need smoothing (it’s a rather low-spec VHD). However, its rather a narrow use-case. I hated it on my hom

Nimbin, Strange that they would resort to prejudicial stereotyping in their quest for equality don’t you think? Strange that they are so keen to confer exemplary rights to some groups of people but arbitrarily deny you yours without due justification? Do they know the meaning of the word hypocrisy? <sp

The whole case was a farce and a blot on the Italian police force. The case against Raffaele Sollecito hinged on the knife; which contained no DNA of the victim and the bra clasp which was contaminated. If he was not there the night of the murder then the prosecution case falls apart. In my POV a farcical middle-aged mysoginist fantasy at best. Meredith Kercher was murdered by an African illegal&nbsp
Quoting TwoWolves, reply 39Its a good idea for a tablet, the task switching on the iPad stinks but this isn't going to be productive on a PC.I LOVE the fact that I can have a Tiles "page" based on task (like "web dev" or "app dev" or "sales" or "finance") and have all the appropriate apps running and visible for just those tasks. HUGE productivity booster! I also have two monitors for each PC I use . . and the taskbar is of

Thank you gentlemen, its nice to know that I have some support from within Stardock. Neil, aren't you the chap who was originally behind Deskscapes? May I PM you sometime with some technical questions? Nevertheless, I may be sometime as this would be a hobby project alongside full-time employment and Fatherhood.

@DaveBax and @Philly0381 Obviously I feel the same as you guys but lets be honest, the forums seem much quieter here and on other UI/Customization sites than they were mid 2000s. I do think Windows 7 was sufficient improvement in appearance for most people and as a result the enthusiast community has shrunk.
